Updated comment: I appreciate that Gaya took my earlier (below) comment seriously and gave me a voucher. In my second visit, I had a much better experience than my first visit. The therapist first asked me if there was any body part I wanted the massage to focus on, and the 90-min body massage was so relaxing with some calming background music. I value their commitment to customer’s satisfaction.

The ambience is great, and the facility is well-equipped & fancy. It is more pricey than other places. I came here for a 90-minute traditional body massage. I booked for a 5pm slot on a Sunday, after some admin stuff and waiting time in the lobby, the massage actually started 5.15pm in the individual room. Yet, to my surprise the therapist already finished the massage at 6.30pm while it should have been 6.45pm — I didn’t bother asking her that we technically still had 15 minutes, I was tired. They gave me complementary herbal tea and some snack afterwards. But for a IDR 565,000 price, having a 75 minute massage is not worthwhile.

My go-to place to unwind and relax for a massage every end of the month. Every time I finish my spa session at Gaya, I am reborn as a whole new person. All of my nerves are calmed down, all of their therapists are professional and did an excellent job at massaging. I always go for either the Gaya Serenade or Gaya Nirwana package.

The place feels comfortable and has a very relaxed atmosphere because you are greeted directly by the very distinctive aroma of Balinese aromatherapy. The parking area is large—maybe about 10 cars. But you have to make reservations in advance for all spa packages at extraordinary value for money because they include premium spas.

I am sooo sorry for anyone who experienced bad service here because THIS IS THE BEST SPA ive ever been to! I am sooo not exaggerating! this place is seriously worth the price. The service, the ambience, the professionalism, the worth-it-ness is beyond my expectations. I went for the package that comes with massage, body scrub, hair scalp treatment etc with my sister and omg! It was perfect! The room was soo spacious and luxury! We even had our own hot tub and shower. All in all, this is my fav Spa in Jakarta ever! We had two amazing masseuses named Hesty & Anni (i hope i spelled their name right). Will come here again and again!

The spa was clean but quite full with people because it was weekend. The therapist was professional. I tried body scrub and traditional oil massage, and I will definitely go back again.

It was quite pleasant relaxing experience. I visited here with my wife after a long trip. We could find clean and decent atmosphere and facilities. Even without booking, we could be served after only less than one hour.

So glad that I finally found Gaya Spa !!! It's really the best in town. I just tried the massage with Mba Wita today. She really knows the right spot to massage. The technique was incredible, very professional and relaxing. I surely will come back.

I am a regular at Gaya spa wellness and appreciate the spa’s beautiful setting, the professional staff, and outstanding service . I can choose from a wide range of treatments. The spa is spotlessly clean, it is embedded in tropical gardens, and thoughtfully arranged.
There are cheaper options out there, but you get what you pay for.

Its quite confusing once you get in.
There’s this empty space with a wall display and a lift. You can find the friendly receptionist in the left entryway.

They’ll measure the masseuse temperature right in front of you.

The place is clean. They’ll give you 🩴 , kimono, hair cap and 🩲to change into.
There’s individual (no tub) & couple spa room.

Tried Betawi package (best fragrance) with Masseuse, HESTI and SELVI.
They’re clean, friendly, the pressure was right, warm oil, i fell asleep just fine. Recommended.

Selvi is a bit over polite so she keeps asking permissions. Lol, it depends on your preferences.

They also sell their massage oils & scrubs, you can try it before you pick your treatments. Every treatment is using different oils/scrubs so it smells different.

Minus:
Foot bath is just washing your feet lightly with rose petals, don’t even take a minute.

The tub needs more cleaning. You can see yellowish stain there. Maybe from their turmeric scrub?
Offered a milk bath but looking at the tub, maybe next time.

They’ve updated their prices so u might wanna ask first.

Very good experience, the best spa place is comfortable and the most comfortable for me, because the place is comfortable, clean and good, the staff is good and very friendly. A spa place with a very good massage added with songs and atoma therapy that makes us more relaxed. Gaya Spa Wolter highliy recommanded.

I quite picky about massage services, but Gaya Spa is at my top of choice now.

They have many type of massages, extracting the culture of Indonesia welness.

My best experience is when i have a swollen feet after a long trip, i take a lymphayic drainage massage, and my body recover faster. My shoes fit well again in instance.

Booked Lymphatic Drainage Massage through WhatsApp and the staff responded pretty swiftly. This was my very first visit.

Upon arrival, I had such a nice welcome, security would open the main door for you.

Immediately welcomed with calm spa-like music and mini water fountain under the stairs when entering to the spa’s waiting room. I was offered hot ginger drink while waiting for my turn, then they had me took off my footwear and replaced it with their indoor rubber sandal.

Due to fully-booked single room on my booking time, the staff led me to the couple room, which is enormous; it has two massage-bed, jacuzzi-bathtub, a shower, vanity as well as two single-lounge sofa for footbath.

Treatment started of with footbath and continued with the massage-package I picked for 90mins.
My therapist, Ika, was friendly and took a good care of me. Do ask for Ika if you’re stopping by, her hands are magic! You can tell she’s experienced as I could feel my muscles relaxed.

Turned out Gaya Spa has been around for 30 Years and recently renovated 8 months ago. The place screams luxury wellness.

This is sanctum of pampering in the bustling Jakarta. Very difficult to get your spot on the day. Got recommended to use Whatsapp of landline to make reservation two days in advance.

A number of treatment available. I had serenade treatment, 5 mins food scrub, 1hr of body massage, and 30mins of facial massage.

The therapist managed well to press and rub my lymph nodes properly. I was up with refreshing feeling.

Highly recommended. I think this spa place is better than ones in 5-starred hotels. Better priced as well!
