First meal in Jakarta! A friend took us to enjoy Nasi Padang in a traditional style, where they bring all the dishes to the table. You just pick what you want to eat, and when you're done, they count what’s missing to calculate the bill. Some dishes are charged per plate, others per piece. It's a bit confusing, but fun 🤣

We went to Restauran Garuda, a large, air-conditioned spot where you can pay by credit card. Make sure to try their signature beef rendang, topped with juicy curry. And don't forget to eat with your hands for the full local experience!

The menu was impeccable. Ayam Pop, Ayam Gulai, Gulai Otak, Udang, Tunjang. +++Krupuk kulit siram kuah. All recommended, without a doubt.

Price is expensive but definitely worth the quality.

Came on 14.00 weekday, place was not crowded. Do request non smoking room because guests are allowed to smoke indoors.

Service is pleasant, pay after the meals, debit and QRIS payment are available. Parking space is limited.

Great padang restaurant around central Jakarta, good food, good staff, the taste is adjusted for local, not too strong, should try ayam pop or ayam gulai. Rendang is a bit too sweet, but still tastes good.

When you go to a Padang restaurant make sure you are very hungry and that you have a huge appetite. They serve the selection of dishes on your table, 30-40 sorts normally, and you pay what you have touched and consumed. One of my favorite RM Padang . I think it's tilted into Melayu palate. Nasi lauk hidang is great way to show Indonesia's hospitality when you are with guests especially foureigners. For locals, nasi sayo/rames with selected lauk pauk is more preferable. My favorite here is gule tunjang, kerang petai and udang galah. Price is descent compared to taste and food quality. Services are great also.

Indonesian food at its best. Prawn, chicken, fishes in fried or balado, all here. Cepat & sedap sekali

Great food, great staff, excellent location. Anyone visiting Central Jakarta has to try this padang restaurant for a unique Indonesian experience. Bring an appetite and enjoy a huge variety of dishes from veggies to a variety of curried meats to beef rendang. The staff are exceedingly friendly and efficient and enjoy helping customers who are unfamiliar with the concept make their selections for a truly enjoyable meal and experience. Waiters Koko and Kiki, in particular, were exceedingly helpful and friendly. A truly enjoyable experience.

Quite ok place for dinning but price is not as cheap as you will expect. Waiting time is reasonable but it takes longer than usual to wait for the bill. Smoking is allowed in the premise so if you are not a smoker then it is bad choice for you. Food wise is above average but parking is a messed. It takes good luck for you to find a parking slot else you will have to turn few rounds in order to wait for next available parking

Amazing food and very fast service. Close to the gambir station so is perfect for a quick bite before your train.

This is an awesome nasi padang restaurant. The food is great, staff are courteous and service is fast and at affordable prices.

The restaurant mainly cater to locals. You should try out their beef rendang, gulai mutton & chicken, free range chicken etc.

This is famous padangnese cuisene, fast services and responsive. Good services..the best Restaurant in Sabang Culinary Centre (known Agus Salim street) .Its open 24 hours. Friendly staff, and highly recommended.

Best place for Nasi Padang!! I love how it is walking distance to our hotel. The surroundings were clean as well when I was walking.

Anyway, all the dishes were really delicious. My favourite would be their ayam goreng, daging dendeng, sambal hijau, rendang daging, gulai ayam and their rice is so soft. Also, I love how friendly and attentive the staff were.

One of the best Padang Restaurant in Jakarta. Price is on the upper scale but is worth it.

Reasonable street food stall. Always full of people. But beware of your belongings. Alots of people walk just sideways. No parking for car. Advise take taxi, ojet or Grab.
