Best Western Papilio Hotel

Had to stay in Surabaya for a business trip and ended up in this hotel. A very quick decision we made just because they had 24hours fast food restaurant and mini market on the first floor.
The place was definitely nice, the staffs were helpful and checked regularly if we had any problems with the room, they even recommended us some local restaurants.
The most memorable one was when we got back to our room, they sent us this cute little cake and tea!! definitely going back to this hotel again if i have another trip to Surabaya.

As usual Best Western never fails in giving their excellent service!
Their staffs work together as a solid team to give excellent service, they do deserve an award!
My stay this time, Ibu Indie helped with the reservation, it went super smooth, from the flexible early check in, the welcome greetings, the cleanliness till check out, it was great!
I am bad in names ( I will get it next time!) , i would like to also thank you for their very welcoming greetings from the guest manager (i believe) and the front desk lady who helped me check in and out.
The excellent customer service provides by all of BW Papilio staffs truly makes your hotel is one of the best! And i am so proud to call you "My second home"!

I just visit Surabaya yesterday and after browsing many hotels online, I chose this one. As expected, everything is amazing! From the valet to the frontdesk receptionist to the cleaners, everyone was very friendly and super helpful.

I would especially like to mention Ms. Indie at the front desk, who not only warmly treated me and my friends with the best service, but also had a great conversation with us, helping us understand Indonesian culture and everything better, plus also recommending some delicious restaurants and great shopping malls in Surabaya for us. She is really a warm and sweet and professional lady, FIVE STAR!

Everything in the room is very good. The bed is moderately soft, the bedding is clean, AC is good, and everything in the bathroom is also very nice and thoughtful.

It’s also nice to mention that this hotel is actually pretty eco-friendly, so it would definitely be highly recommended that if you come to Surabaya, just book Best Western Papilio Hotel and enjoy your great stay here.

Quite a hotel/apartment style, another benefit is their 24hr alfamart and A&W just at their ground floor. Considering their high floors, they seriously need to add more lift.

It was an amazing and enjoyable experience to stay at Papilio. food, room, service and atmosphere are very good. Thank you Mr. Habib for the great hospitality and service. I will come back with some friends next time

(+) : room is clean, cozy, tidy & spacious. Their receptionists are kind, helpful & friendly. Their breakfast is quite vary & tasty for a 4 star hotel. Their pool is in 8th floor & have a good view. Located not far from bundaran Waru & surrounded with many choices of resto (eg. AW, Mie Gacoan, Ayam Primarasa, Mie Pemuda)

(-) : limited parking lot specially when there's a wedding, limited bellboy & staff for helping you with your stuff, only have 2 lifts available

Got an awesome experience staying here, the only downside was the lift. My floor was in 33rd and waiting for the lift to come was painful sometimes but the view was worth it. The parking lot was narrow and suitable for mid to small sized vehicle. Overall great place, great service, great hotel. Will go there again.

So nice cozy friendly hotel in Surabaya, the location is on main road so easy to get to everywhere, theres a sky poll even not too big but enough to swim with kids, food price just like in usual hotel medium high, the room so much comfy the bathroom either so clean just great to stay in here

I've stayed here few times and the room never disappoint. It has a comfy bed and wonderful view. Last time, I got the room at 33rd. No waiting time for the lift since it was not crowded. But when it's crowded, two lifts were just not enough to accommodate that many stories. The breakfast offered many kinds of menus. The pool was great. The hospitality was awesome.

I stay for a couple days in this hotel, and here my review :
1. Clean and neat hotel room
2. The staff was so friendly and helpful
3. The food was so complete and good
4. Swimming pool is also good.
5. The location is not too far from the Airport.

Maybe if i come to Surabaya will stay in this Hotel again, nice work! Keep it up!

It's fantastic hotel. Rooms are spacious very clean and not far from Toll road. Also they have an excellent breakfast spread.. Overall it was an excellent experience and would definitely will be my first choice of stay in Surabaya.

I would like to say that this hotel is very good. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom have everything you might need, also the hot and cold water have a good pressure.

This is the third time I stay here, and I feel very comfortable. It has the sky pool and a fitness center. The breakfast buffet also very good, there’s a lot of food you can choose. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

The location is very strategic.. Very recommended.. 👍👍👍

I had workshop here but i didn't feel like working because this hotel offers leisure. Room facilities are great, i can see the enchanting scenery of Surabaya from here. Food and drink are delicious and quite cheap for 4-star hotel (at sky pool cafe). I enjoy fitness center facility and the infinity pool. All the staffs are great. Air conditioner should be able to control from the room not from the center and i need to wait 10 minutes or more for the lift. Overall it's wonderful. I love best western, near from royal mall so you can have a pleasure shopping there.

the room space is so big and clean. I also like the view and convenience as well. You don't need to go outside hotel to buy fast food bcz there is A&W located in the first floor

We had exceptional service from both check in (April) and check out (Frisca) staff who also escorted us to the airport in the morning. Both spoke perfect English and very polite and personal. Rooms were clean and bathroom had everything you might need, bed was very comfortable. There was 2 pools, fitness room, very good buffet breakfast and a restaurant.

Next time we travel to/through Surabaya we will definitely stay here again.

I was a bit strange to see the floor buttons in the elevator, it reaches to floor 36. Rather high for a hotel in Indonesia. Apparently they share with apartment so they are quite in the high. We stayed in 33rd floor, the room is very roomy, plenty of spaces. Bathroom is also large, you won’t wet your floor as the shower is goodly sealed with glass. Breakfast is also such a delightful experience with tons of selection. Kinds of breads, cakes, proteins, juices, fruits, and so on.

Good. We had a good sleep staying in the hotel. Although the AC could have been colder.

We had a good dinner too. The servant named Oxel was particularly helpful & friendly.

Comfortable room, breakfast have a lot of varieties. I enjoy my time stay at this hotel

nice place to stay and clean, all the staffs are really friendly and polite. but the last visit experience is so bad which is 1 level up from my level give so many noisiest during bed time at 3 am. once we're complaining to the front desk they direct give a move. and once i'm doing my check out in the morning they give me 1 small gift bag as apology. highly recommend to someone want to stay around surabaya area
