Konsulat Republik Federal Jerman

I deal with authorities all the time. And I am a real complicated customer. Always have been, always will be, it is what it is. Things are not helped by the fact that I am a lawyer: we always believe to know everything better.
And I am the very first person to complain. Very loudly. Very publicly. At the slightest issue I may encounter.

But let us also praise where praise is very much due: Germany can be very proud of this small German consulate in Surabaya and its fantastic staff. A friendly and helpful attitude, even willing to do overtime in order to help us with a last minute emergency application, everything done with a smile and personal empathy. Job well done!

To any future applicants: if you are unsure about anything, just ask the staff. The lady is very helpful and knows all the procedures.
