Can I give a 6-star rating for the food?
This is simply a gem in Bintan. Located on a hill overlooking Penyengat Island, this restaurant is a scenic spot to spend a night with friends and family. Most importantly, the food is super awesome. Not only the presentation is fantastic, but the taste matches it as well! Embrace the different varieties of cuisine dished up by the chef, from Indonesian, Western to Thai cuisines to name a few. So tantalizing! If you are in Bintan, do head down to this great restaurant👍

So happy I decided to visit this gem of a place - it’s may be hard to get to on foot as it’s ‘hidden’ somewhere on higher ground, accessible only by a narrow road. Too bad i only visited after dark - the sunset view from here would have been magnificent.

Service, ambience and food here were all top notch. The staff were all extremely professional and spoke decent English. The prices were great too! I had a starter, mains and a large coconut for less than sgd20.

If you are coming to the city you will want to have dinner here. The atmosphere is perfect in the evening, where you can see a spectacular sunset. Would definitely recommend. Some good food here are the western food. The steak is extremely good! Mostly not too expensive & not too crowded.

We rate 7 stars for the services rendered! Unsure what is the name of the waiter but he is so polite and has the best smile in the world! 😄 The food selection is wide & each dish tasted so much better than our expectation, especially chef-recommeded Salted egg fried calamari ring, Gado-gado & Soto Ayam!!! Chicken Satays and Gong Gong were great too! Pricing is also very quite reasonable and do not forget to order their alcoholic beverages 😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

First cafe visit in Tanjung Pinang. Nice atmosphere. Drinks, food & taste are okay except for the shrimp/prawn used in the dishes aren’t that fresh.

The food was really good! The steak was well prepared, and the "Sop Buntut" (grilled oxtail) was very tasty! Skip the Afogato though.. 😆 🤣 😂 the ice cream was not up to par. Still a fantastic place with a great ambience, even has a live band!

If you come to Bintan then you must come here to eat. I was staying in a resort and the food there was too mild; I came out for some proper food and this place is fantastic. The fish is amazing, as was the satay. The drinks were also great. I finally got my satisfying proper Indonesian food. Highly recommended!

Manabu is a wonderful restaurant that offers the convenience of online reservations. The location boasts a beautiful view, adding to the overall charm of the place. While the food is decent, it falls a bit short in terms of taste and value for the price. However, the ambiance and service make up for it, providing a pleasant dining experience overall.

We have a high-tea here. The taste of the food was really nice, higher than expectation. the ambience was really nice, chill and relax. The view outside was amazing, can look over the Tanjung Pinang Town and sea view. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Manabu is always on the number one option if you are with someone from outside the city and crave for a nice place with a perfect ambience to watch a sunset!
The food is quite good in general even tho it’s a bit pricey. I recommend you to have infused coconut water, come with a signature stamp of Manabu😀
The only downside is there’s a construction right in front of the sunset spot.

Fabulous lunch and service on top of a hill with a view of the sea! This could be one of the best restaurants in bintan. We had a long slow lunch with dessert on a weekday. Place was quite empty for lunch. Service was very good and friendly. The view was great.
For drinks, highly recommend Emergency Ward, a beergharita. Coffees were good too.
For food, we had steak, pasta, ayam goreng, soup tulang, both kinds of satay. All were very good but the soup tulang was really excellent.
I will eat here again if I am in the area.

The place is quite easy to access, located in the middle of the city with a location on a hill. The parking lot is not that big, but we can park on the side of the road because the area is not too crowded. This restaurant offers a casual dining experience with views overlooking the sea from a hillside. To eat at this restaurant, you should make a reservation in advance, especially for dinner, because it is often full.
The food menu is diverse, ranging from Indonesian food to western food. The taste is quite good, the service is friendly and fast, and the price is a bit expensive

great place to dine, especially on evening when you can see great sunset. The food and service also great. For muslim there is musholla provided so you can perform prayer on time and stay in the place longer without needing to go out searching nearby musholla

This is my second time manabu. Whenever I got a chance to go to bintan, I definitely went here. Food is superb, the pastry is also good. Nice ambience too especially during the sunset

Ok, ive been to tg pinang many times and they do offer good local food. When i go here for first time, i didnt expect the restaurant offer very good ambience, and food also very tasty, good presentation, price wise is still ok, not expensive. It makes you want to stay more. The view also very nice especially at night. Good for family and couples.
