The spiciness wasn't as I expected. If you have a moderate tolerance for spiciness, you'll surely enjoy eating here. If you're a spicy food enthusiast, I recommend ordering their spicy chicken, it's a real palate pleaser.

What makes this place interesting is that they cook the chicken in various ways, although the size of the chicken is relatively small. Overall, I recommend dining here.

Not as spicey as I thought but this meet my expectation. I just can't bear more spicy chicken for that say. I think if you want more spicy food, you can order chicken plencingan menu while I order a grilled one. The chicken taste is fine, proper salt and when you chip in to the taliwang sauce, PERFECT! Their plecing also fresh and not too spicy.

The chicken is consider small, but it may because the typical free-range chicken in Lombok for real is small, maybe not suitable for those who loves more fatty chicken.

Location is surrounded by old buildings, market area in Lombok city. Can find easily through google map. Parking area is available but limited. And it is paid too. The prices of the food is moderate.

Overall experiences are good! And would love to comeback someday.

Went there early as it opened. 4.30. Staff are very friendly. Menu is pretty straight forward. Talked to locals who were eating there and they told me this is definitely the best place to eat Taliwang chicken. I tried both fried and grilled both good. However if suggest you also try the grilled fish. Awesome. Crisp skin and moist flesh.

This is a must visit restaurant for Taliwang and plecing. I’ve been visiting this place many times and the taste is always good.

Sometimes you have to wait to get seats since they have many visitors, particularly in dinner. But it is very worth to try

I am trying this place coz of a YouTuber said it is "The Best Grilled Chicken in The World", and yes indeed it is!

First of all, the service is very quickly. You don't even need to wait for your food to be ready. It is also freshly cooked.

I tried a Grilled taliwang and a fried one (I recommend a grilled one). The chicken is so soft and small, but the taste is amazing together with a spicy sauce "sambal". It costs you only 35.000 rupiah for each delicious chicken. I am really satisfied.

There is also a live performance from a street musician. It is entertaining and not disturbing the customer (it happened on the other place in Indonesia you know..). You could give the musicians some tips for his great performance.

The taste is amazing, delicious! I order Ayam Bakar Taliwang and Ayam Bakar Madu. There's also live music (street performer) that bring good ambiance. But if you cant hold to eat at sidewalks cafe or tiny and crowded place, you better order and take away

As a British expat living in Indonesia I really wanted to try this local Lombok dish and it really didn’t disappoint, super spicy and cooked to perfection A+++++

many resto selling ayam taliwang, but this one taliwang khas pak udin is very delicious, many types of taliwang, such as: taliwang fried chicken, taliwang barbeque chicken, barbeque with honey dip.
try other menu such as barbeque eggplant with tomato sauce taste sooo good, i like it.
need to eat 2 whole chicken because 1 chicken is not enough ..
they served the customer very fast, the meal will be ready to served 10 minute after u placed the order.
2 thumbs up for the original taste of ayam taliwang and good service.

DETAILS: The most amazing Indonesian food I've ever had. I've been staying in Lombok for about a month travelling to Kuta, Senggigi, the Gilis, etc. and this is by far the best food in Lombok. Get the chicken and the veggies with coconut, sambal, and peanuts, and rice. so amazing. the chicken is charred and crispy but so moist inside with an amazing and intense flavour. The veggies are perfectly cooked with crunch left in them and a delicious mixture of spicy and sweet (from the fried coconut) flavours. Everything is amazing. Even the service! They bring you you're food in about 5 minutes even when they are busy with a full restaurant. Typical Indonesian style restaurant. Everything is clean but the layout and choice of furniture is not appealing. But again, typical hole in the wall. But clean and comfortable enough. Food is above and beyond which makes up for the aesthetics of the restaurant. It is on the side of the road and may take a bit of time to find on your own, but all locals know the restaurant.

One of the best experiences dining Ayam Taliwang, a traditional menu from Lombok. Be carefull as the menu are mostly hot and spicy. You need a strong stomach.
