Ayam Taliwang was so nice! Spicy and well marinated, good to eat with rice. But the portion was small, might not be enough for an adult. In general food and juice were good, environment was ok.

Their specialy, "ayam taliwang," is yummy. There are all kinds of spice level we can request. The tofu, "tahu Lombok," is super yummy. The water spinach, "kangkung" can be very spicy. But fresh. Just don't take the spice too much to avoid stomachache.

Service is fast.

I was amazed with the space, though. It's like as big as a school with two courts. Sooo big. Well, ambience is not so comfortable if there are big groups coming in because it would be dirty. Otherwise, the inner courtyard or so would be nice. It's a local standard place. But the toilet is quite clean.

There are more Taliwang Irama along the same road. Not sure which one is the best out of them all.

There is an ATM outside, and the cashier lady wanted us to pay cash. Oh.. so old school.

But we'd come back, for the food.

Nice proper restaurant, ample parking. Spacious.

Have option to sit at normal table or chairs. Or more traditional "pondok" / huts.

Price is affordable. Spending IDR 80k per pax, depending what you order.

Would be back.

If you bring a big group of Visitors, then is this the right place to have your lunch/dinner.

traveling to an area, of course we have to enjoy the food of that region, one of the very famous foods here is the typical Lombok Taliwang chicken, the chicken is small and eaten with lebui sauce & plencing kangkung along with the very distinctive chili sauce which makes this Indonesian dish very delicious , one day definitely come here again

I ordered chicken taliwang, plecing and grilled fish

For me the best are the fish. Even tough the chicken are good but there were so pittle amount of meat, its well marinated though

The fish is on another level... the sambal were also good

A bit pricey but well worth try while in lombok

We ordered Ayam Bakar Madu and Ayam Bakar Pedas Manis, accompanied with Plecing Kangkung. Seasoning of Ayam Bakar is perfectly cooked with authententic taste and you can taste the seasoning throughout the meat. The size of chicken is suitable for 1 person only. The Plecing Kangkung is refreshing with fresh vegetables and not too spicy Sambal. This place sits on the Taliwang Village (kampung taliwang) itself, which probably where Taliwang seasoning come from.

Traditional lombok good with traditional setting. Seems to be populat with tourists, but the food was superb, the chicken definitely a must!!

If you come to Lombok, the local will recommend you Ayam Taliwang (kind of bbq chicken with local sweet and spicy sause) they will serve you whole bird but small size. Just nice for 2 person. All the sauces are very spicy. Taufu (beancurb) also nice and soft. You can enjoy your food in kampung (village) feel.

I dined here on package tour, so I got limited meal. Ayam taliwang is tasty with spicy flavor and tender, size of ayam taliwang is small different with ayam kampung from java

I dined here as a tour package, so it was a limited prasmanan (which is why my plate looks messy lmao). the fish is top notch, the bumbu taliwang is even better, but most surprisingly-- the plecing is something else

This restaurant served local marinated grill chicken. The spicy level is on request. But spicy always the best selection. 😂

Some people says that this is the best Barbeque Chicken in the world. I agree with that, the chicken comes with high level of spicyness. The restaurant is also one of the best in Mataram, tho.

This restaurant has very tasty ayam taliwang. We order the package complete with ayam taliwang, plecing, soup. All tasty. The staff is friendly. We order for take out but have to wait very long time because this place have a group order. Many domestic tourist come with bus so be ready to wait

Enak parah... I came alone here and I didn't know that one portion of their chicken is ONE CHICKEN, not one part of, let's say, breast, wings or drumstick. 😅
