Located at Fairmont Hotel, next to Plaza Senayan Mall, nice fine dining Chinese restaurant, good foods and good service also.

One of the better premium dim sum spot in the city. Located in Fairmont Hotel, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. They don't have as many big tables. Food wise all of them is quite good, they are good mixed with the condiments provided. Service is always nearby and easy to reach. And they are very attentive too. Would recommend the restaurant for sure.

Very quiet and spacious dining place, comfortably sitting large groups and great for family dinner and gathering.

The pork dishes is very good in taste, value and portion, tried the consomme truffle and seafood soups, they are very tasty. And the salted egg fish skin is a must try.

Recommend to try the peking duck.

House of Yuen is a Chinese food and dimsum restaurant that is located in Fairmont Hotel on the 3rd floor. This restaurant is comfortable and suitable to dine in with family. They have some private rooms that can be used to hold an event. The staffs are friendly and always ready to help. Even when our tea cup is almost empty, they will quickly pour the tea from the pot to our cup.

They provide variant of steamed and fried dimsum along with the ala carte menu and dessert.

Here are what I tried :

Baked Abalone Puff (IDR 68,000)
One of their signature dimsum. This is indeed a premium dimsum menu. It consists of two baked puffs with abalone filling. The top of the puff has a very good sweet taste. I love it! But it wasn't enough because the puff size isn't that big 🥲

Steamed Pork Dumpling Xiao Long Bao (IDR 42,000)
3 pcs of steamed xiao long bao that is filled with pork and the broth. Serve them with the soy sauce and ginger.

Stir-Fried Lobster and Jasmine Rice Served in Lobster Soup (IDR 158,000)
One of the signature dish in House of Yuen. It's absolutely a fancy dish!
A bowl of jasmine white rice that is served in lobster soup along with the lobster, carrot, green onions, fried egg. Tastes good and full of lobster 🦞🤩

Chrysanthemum Tea (IDR 32,000)
They use the tea from Kaya Tea. The taste of this hot chrysanthemum tea isn't that strong.

My family has been to plenty of high quality Chinese restaurants in Jakarta. Our tongues have been spoiled with good Chinese food, but I have to say that House of Yuen easily becomes one of my favorites. Their Dimsum is very nice. Hakao, Siumai, Congfan and Yang chow fried rice are very delicious and the best in town. Fried rice portion is very generous for a small size. Hakau and siumai have thick and juicy prawns. Also, I really love their pork buns. Definitely the best pork buns I had! I really reccomend them 💖 However, their signature Peking Duck is just okay for me. Their skin is too thick for my liking. Service is really nice and the place is very beautiful due to its luxurious and eyecatching decoration. For the price, it's definitely on the higher end side. I definitely reccomend this place if you want to have Chinese Dimsum with the family ☺

The best Chinese restaurant in Jakarta, in my opinion. The dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients. The presentation is also pleasing to the eyes. Service is first rate and the interior is elegant. They have several private rooms too. This is my place for good Chinese cuisine. And parking place is ample in this building.

Good dim sum, many selection and taste good too. Dimsum serve before 3pm and last order at 2.30pm. Re open for dinnner at 5.30pm

The dishes were superb, they managed to delivered that authentic Chinese cuisine taste to the table. The resto was spotless, the staffs were also helpful. We ordered roasted duck, sauteed kaylan (chinese broccoli), mayonnaise shrimp, black pepper beef & mapo tahu. All dishes were really great & all of them paired nicely with rice 🖤. The portion size were fair to me as the pricing was quite expensive but it was worth it.

I've been to a number of ultra-upscale Chinese restaurants in Jakarta, but none surpassed House of Yuen. The sourcing is just unparallelled.

My fav are the short ribs, followed by sweet & sour prawn, then by truffle beef.

A high-end chinese restaurant serving delicious and authentic chinese food. To begin with, the place is huge and the decor is suitably goregous. The dishes were beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. Highlights for me included the peking duck, sirloin with sichuan pepper, and the roasted crispy chicken with flaxseed. Service was smooth and professional as well. A great experience overall.

Good restaurant, Food was tasty, Waiters & waitresses are very well trained and kind. Great atmosphere as well. Overall it was good experience having lunch in this restaurant.

Very good chinese food here. My boys loved the sweet and sour pork. One of the best we have had before (we tried a lot places as this was my boys favorite dish). My wife and I love the dim sum. Must try, will definitely be back again

Best dim sum in Jakarta now, must come early if you don't have reservation. Saturday and Sunday always full. The resto has a very odd reservation time with a limited dinning time.
