Very nice rice terraces. The whole place is huge. We went there with a tour so we didn’t have time to stay a lot but if you come with time, you can rent a bike and go through the rice fields. They only grow red and black rice in these terraces, not the normal white one, and the plant is a little bit different. Very interesting experience

Absolutely beautiful place! So much more peaceful than famous Tegallalang. I highly recommend coming here for real and genuine rice field experience! Pictures don’t do it’s justice. We came late afternoon, closer to sunset and it was so quiet, only few people around. Definitely one of the highlights of our Bali trip.

A truly unique place. There are several marked trails with different length and difficulty... At the two entry/exit points there's people helping you nicely to find the right for your capabilities. We hit a day with rain... Or the rain hit us. Maybe that made the green paradise even nicer

Have to pay 50k per person to enter. There are different walking routes. See my image. Kind of cool. Took us about 1h 20min from ubud to get there. They have a lot restaurants around and food and drinks opportunities in the rice terraces themselves.
You can park here too. See image.

🌾 Definitely the best rice terrace to visit while in Bali - an UNESCO Heritage Site: Jatiluwih. The serenity you’ll encounter and enjoy there is absolutely stunning, the place being not as crowded as the Tegalalang Rice Terrace.

A few years ago, these rice terraces were off-the-beaten track but they are now a popular place to see some of the Balinese countryside. At the end of the rainy season, these rice terraces glow emerald green, making them a wonderful place for photography. There are well-labelled trails among the rice terraces which lead you to shrines, temples and viewpoints. Highly recommended.

Fantastic place! So much greenery, lots of good hiking trails, you can stay here for a long time enjoying the beautiful and tranquil scenery.
I also really enjoyed being surrounded by thousands of dragonflies. There also are lots of different butterflies, including really huge ones. You can see birds, lizards as well.
For those crazy about taking pictures at every step there are lots of photo opportunities. Lots of places to eat and drink.

Marvellous scenery, all green around. We regret that we planned only 2 hours in this amazing place. On the marked routes you can buy local products from the families owning the fields.

So stunning here! Make sure you take some sunscreen and some mosquito repellent! Also on the track there are some local businesses who sell rice made products and fruit etc, so ensure you take some cash! They let you try it for free, I recommend the little chocolate swirls and the mangosteen.

Great scenery to visit for at least once.
Tickets needed. Many options of balinese and western food overlooking the endless views of the rice paddies.

Walking in the rice fields is such an amazing experience. You’ll have the opportunity to take different trekking tracks at your own pace or even rent a bike if you feel like it :)
You can spend one hour relaxing or an entire day, up to you :)

Amazing place, most of the trail I was just by myself and nature. You can choose the trail according your desire. Beautiful sceneries ✨ and a nice scooter ride from ubud center :)
Entrance is 50000 and 3000 for scooter parking - no need to book in advance you just pay at the entrance of rice terrasse

Srunning rice paddies field, I always love to embrace with the nature.

Just little note. If you want to go there, please bring umbrella or raincoat.

Like today, there was rain and we don't bring any umbrella or raincoat.

And we met the guy ( guide) with his guests gave us 3 raincoats. Thank you.

A must visit UNESCO World Heritage Site nominated since June 2012. Located in the Tabanan regency of Bali, it covers over 600Ha of picturesque rice fields that follow the undulating hillside topography of the Batukaru mountain range.

There are 5 hiking routes as accessible options:
Red: This is the shortest route 2km long which takes about one hour, up to
Blue: With 7 km, this is longest trekking path route and adaptable for advanced trekkers. It’s a hike about 4 hours in the untouched nature.

Having seen a few of these around Bali, this one for me is a stand out. A UNESCO site that has different trails within the terraces for you to explore, enjoy and appreciate the art of rice growing. A collection of restaurants are at the start of the trails for you to enjoy before or after your exploring.

This place is really mesmerizing and so peaceful to the mind and soul. Arrived to this rice terrace on a hot sunny day, everything was so good, the view, the breeze of the air, the scenery, really an amazing experience. We stopped for some warung and cafe to chill before we moved to our next destination

Always lovely to visit Jatiluwih rice terrace, one of the must visit spot in Bali. Even on the way to Jatiluwih you will be served with authentic Balinese life, away from hustle bustle of tourism.

Magnificent views, I'd recommend taking a walk through the rice fields, stop by the merchants and either get yourself fresh coconut or just some snacks. The merchants who are also the farmers are very friendly and lovely.

There is also a number of options for your lunch around the area, so you can have your meal while looking at the stretch of the world cultural heritage site. A must for visitors of Bali
