Keong Mas Warung

I had a feeling this place would be good. It was. A nice family of wood-carvers too, with a wood-carving shop next door with very high quality pieces. The grilled fish and chicken was perfectly made. Would recommend & will definitely become a regular. Simple & real vibe.

first dinner out in Ubud and i was hoping to get an authentic local experience and these guys delivered just that on top of the most amazing freshly grilled fish . cant recommend them enough

We had a lovely time at Keong Mas Warung this evening. My wife and I both had the barbecue chicken, and shared a dish of vegetable fried rice and a dish of mixed vegetables. All very fresh and delicious! The owner Ketut and his family welcomed us into the courtyard of their beautiful home where they have set up some very relaxing dining areas. The atmosphere was authentic Balinese. We also had the honor of meeting Ketut’s father, a master wood carver, and we viewed some of his exquisite work in an adjacent studio. We look forward to returning again for another great dinning experience!

I know this place and this family very well because I was doing ytt next door and I was lucky to enjoy my dinners there every evening. Ketut and his family are kind and lovely people. Food is amazing, atmosphere cosy and nice. Ketut also has a taxi service and we travelled a lot together. They are very honest and trustworthy people. And one more time: food is AMAZING! My favourite temphe in Bali. Also prices are way lower then anywhere else in Ubud. I recommend with my whole heart ❤

The food was really delicious and Ketut and his family were so friendly. They have a woodcarving store next door with very beautiful works of art. They also offer a taxi/tour service and Ketut drived us around for our stay in Ubud. He was very friendly and patient and great with our kids. We would highly recommend eating in their Warung, buying their beautiful wood carvings and using their tour services.

Delicious local food, family owned business. We tried the nasi goreng and ayam bakar, it was authentic Indonesian food. The owner was friendly and good service overall.

Lovely dinner in the backyard of the warung. We had vegetables, tofu and fried rice. Every morning one of the family members goes to the local market to get fresh vegetables.

Came from Australia for a week and the grilled chicken, chilli sauce was delicious and fried rice was very good! Family that runs it were super friendly and had lots of cool wood carving to check out in the store next door. Easily some of the most authentic local food we had on our trip.
