Restoran Sederhana (Masakan Padang) - Margonda

Sederhana is said to be the largest Padang restaurant chains in Indonesia. It claims to have more than 200 outlets nationwide.
I came here for the first time back in 2016 and the rendang still tastes the same ever since. It was so rich, spicy, and mouth-watering. We also tried the dendeng batokok for the first time; the beef was quite lean but the taste was somewhat great.
Parking was easy and they provide both smoking and air-conditioned rooms.

Nice one. They have sate padang here and the taste is good. They also give a free hot tea for every customer.

This place is recommended if you crave for Padang food. I like it here as the food itself are not too salty like the others RM Padang Sederhana's resto I've been before. So, it is good for me. Good parking lot, huge space, they have private room though. All areas cover with aircon. Unfortunately forgot to take picture of the food as I was too hungry and the food were too attempted...haha

Delicious, high quality foods from Padang. Soto Padang one of its best, rendang taste fantastic, and dendeng balado one of my favorite. Parking lot available, and room fully AC for non smoking guest.

One of most respected speciality restaurant with their west sumatra "nasi padang" cuisine. As delicious as the other branches ever. Very well maintained to keep their standards....
I suggest you to order a portioned dishes if coming alone or two, but more than that, ask for rijstaffel (sajian) service

Well known Padang Restaurant franchise. This restaurant has regular area with fan and air-conditioned room for you to choose. You can pick your food and bring to your table or try to say 'hidang' (hee-dang) and the waitress will bring foods to your table and you are able to choose directly from your table. You only pay what you eat, for meat related menu (like meat, fish, chicken, dst) you pay per piece, for vegetables you pay per plate. Please do respect the food by not touching/playing with food eg: bring chicken to your rice plate but you change your mind and put it back to chicken plate. Restaurant might count this as buy the dish because they can't sell it anymore.

My favourite Minang restaurant in Jakarta. They have various menu on offer. The price is quite affordable also.

10.00 - 12.00 Food variety is awesome, 13.00 and above is average... So come here early is the best choice...
