Inlight Lombok Resort

We really enjoyed the time here at Inlight. It is incredibly calm and the atmosphere is great. We surfed here once the first day which was a bit above our level but there is supposedly a beginners site in the right conditions.
I took a foiling class which was amazing😊 food, the view and service is great.

I spent two beautiful days together with my wife and my mother at Inlight Lombok. The view and the surf is amazing and they arrange boats and surf guides at reasonable prices who pick you up right at the beach in front of the hotel. You can choose between 5 great spots and the guide will tell you which works best at the current conditions. The owner Maxim is a really nice and attentive person who tries to fulfill all your needs and wishes. The first day I went surfing with him and his little son and got a couple of great waves. The staff was also very welcoming and tries to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are clean and I liked the wooden furniture. Other people might say that the exterior needs some renovation and there is no perfect beach for swimming in front, but I really didn't mind some cracks in the stairs down to the beach and Tanjung Aan is another amazing white sand beach very suitable for swimming just 10 min by car or scooter.

Staying at inlight was an absolute dream! This hotel is off the beaten path and it is so worth a visit. The water views, sunset hikes and nature all around makes for the most peaceful environment. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate and help with anything you might need from transportation into town, surf rentals and boats, drinking water, you name it! I would highly recommend inlight to anyone from solo travelers to families. I should also mention that the food is outstanding as well!

We loved our 5 nights at Inlight. The staff are amazing, so nice and genuinely interested in you. Perfect place to stay for surfing! We would definitely stay again.

We (a couple) stayed at Inlight for 5 nights and it was everything we’d hoped for.

The staff was incredibly friendly. They gave us great tips on were to go, were curious about our day and helped us with everything we needed.

Facilities: excellent. There was unlimited drinking water, we rented a scooter for three days for a good price and we were told that yoga, surfing and massages were possible (however we didn’t do any of those). The pool area is simply gorgeous. The pools are clean, modern and well-designed. There are a few sunbeds and pool-towels available.

The restaurant serves an amazing breakfast with lots of different options. They serve mainly healthy foods (lots of seafood and veggies) so no meat our alcohol, however you’re welcome to bring your own.

If I had to name points of improvement: the wifi connection isn’t very strong in the rooms and the road to the hotel can be a little challenging, however it’s certainly doable. A list of activities in the area with prices and how to book them in the room would be a nice touch.

Overall: great value for money and our stay was a dream 😊☀

Stayed here some months ago but the outstanding service, food and stay deserves a review. Genuine and friendly staff with amazing views. Hope to make it back.

This was the best hotel we stayed in during our travels to Indonesia and one of the best in the world we have visited. It was magical. The staff was so helpful and kind, the food was amazing, and the views were out of this world. The architecture of the hotel is really cool. I am always coming back to Inlight Lombok Resort and give it my highest recommendation! You can see the sunrise and the sunset from the hotel with monkeys too! Thank you for the best visit and memories we will cherish forever!

We are a family of 3 and stayed 5 nights in Inlight. The view is beautiful, rooms are clean and comfortable and the highlight was definitely the warmth and hospitality of the staff. They’re so genuine and always happy to help with anything.
To reach the surf spots you can either arrange a boat with the hotel or get a scooter to town (5 minutes ride) and get a boat from there. We would definitely go back :)

We had the best time at Inlight. An amazing place, super private. Surf spots all around, and great food. The owner was amazing and took us to surf the best uncrowded spot in Lombok. The staff was amazing, everyone so helpful and making sure we had the best time. We will definitely return to this amazing place! Felt like a second home, so we came back three times.
First of all, the stuff is just heartwarming amazing. Every single person working in and for inlight! Driver, security, receptionist, waitor, manager and the owner max!
The AC rooms are designed with simple but stylish furniture, bathroom with hot water. Fresh drinking water also 24/7 available.
Beautiful views of Gerupuk bay, sunrises and sunsets right behind the hotel. Nice pool, sunbeds with towels also available.
The food (vegetarian and fish) is great! Every single meal was delicious. Same for the drinks. Food maybe a little bit more expensive then elsewhere in Lombok, but worth the money!
The helpful stuff will organize everything for you (boat to the waves, pick up service, laundry, scooter rent,...).
Half of the hotel is not finished yet, but there are no cunstructions/no noises. It is a really quite paradise!

I like the solitude of this hotel, so I could to focus on my holiday (just enjoy the hotel and nature and just relax. No cafes/restaurants/malls could attract my attention during my holiday there.

This is my second time being at Inlight Resort Hotel.

The hotel is not big and quite simple but I love the view, the healthy foods and drinks, the people.

We had a bit hiking around 10-15 minutes to the hill nearby to have sunset and there is "box cave" to see the other side of this island which also beautiful.

For sunrise, just stay at the hotel waiting for it arouns 06.20 am.

Want to be there again 🤩

Absolutely outstanding! Exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Maxim and Genia treated us like family. The views are breathtaking, the whole resort is spotless clean, and the food is delicious.

Regarding staff attention, cleanness, food and quietness it’s a hands-down 5 star.

However the lower section of the hotel feels like it’s still recovering from a quake (which is probably partly the case), the road leading towards the hotel is an uphill challenge when it has rained and the shower had sometimes a will of it’s own. Also parts of the hotel are still being constructed, but they did their best to obscure this nicely and that way you look passed it quickly.

The location is a bit remote if you are used to Bali and Kuta (Lombok) way-finding, but it has a specific charme to it. And for surfing the bay at Gerupuk is Lombok’s finest.

The staff and owner (Maksim) are great. Really approachable and helpful with anything. They played with the kids and handled all kind of changeabilities if wished for the menu.

For me it would all-in-all be a 4,5 which I’ll pull up to a 5 because of the love of the people running the place!

Located atop the hill with an amazing view over the sunrise, beachfront access to 5 surfing spots, not a single mosquito seen or heard, fresh sea breeze all day. Allow yourself this amazing experience when you come to Lombok.

I have been travelling for 2 months all through southeast Asia. I can say this is my favorite spot thus far. The surf is right out front. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The food is healthy and brilliant. The room is fresh, new and comfortable. Bath tub is incredible. You have your own outdoor oasis and then 2 pools and perfect breeze with a hammock spot. It's quiet and comfortable away from the business of the other areas. Lombok has its dirtier spots but here is simple, clean and friendly. Definitely coming back. The owner became a friend instantly. Helping with anything we needed- boat to surf, transport, recommendations, fishing, even when I had a stomach ache. Good spot for sure. I will come back to Lombok just to stay here.

Maxim the owner and architect and his wife run the place with exceptional staff. They helped us with recommendations on where to go to see the sunset, organized transportation to the airport, got us a scooter to run around the beautiful beaches of southern Lombok and a delicious breakfast was included each morning. If you want to get away to a beachside paradise, this is the place. With only four rooms in the whole resort, couples and honeymooners can enjoy some solitude with warm and welcoming staff. Just be prepared, the road to the resort is up a steep dirt incline and can be a little dicey to get up/down but it’s so worth it! Once you arrive be prepared to be amazed!
