Midtown Residence Surabaya

I stayed here for 3 days. This city view hotel provides comfortable room, bathroom, dining table, and kitchen. Swimming Pool is available at rooftop and open till 22.00. The staffs hotel are friendly and helpful. This hotel reduces the use of plastic bottle that's why water dispenser is available outside the room. Overall, I have worthy and comfortable staying.

Stayed here for few times already and will definitely go back.
The room is more like an apartment rather than a hotel because it has a dining table and a kitchen, depending on the type it has even a living room. But they do the hotel service, 24/7 reception, room service, etc. The room is big, clean and comfortable.
The location is quite central, just next to marvel city mall. They have a wide selection of breakfast (western, indonesian, chinese). Gym and pool are available, located on their rooftop. The only downside: you could hear the traffic (a bit noisy) at night. Overall it is worth the price for what they offer.

It's a bit out of town but it's convenient to stay here. Mall is quite empty probably due to covid that's why a lot of shop closes. There's a few restaurant and drink shop which you can go to. Hotel has a good spread of breakfast and it's worth the money. Room is big with a separate kitchen and bedroom. It's clean and the cleaner will come and clean the room daily. Very long swimming pool and the gym has a number of equipment. Hotel has hypermart at the lower ground and it's convenient. All the staff and security are friendly and helpful. Even though the bathroom is in need of change especially the mirror, but it will do for now. Will not hesitate to stay here again.

It's a good 4 stars hotel in the middle of town..

The first time I stayed at this hotel was in 2019 and I visited again in 2022. During 2020 to 2021 I tried several other hotels in Surabaya, but in general I was satisfied with this hotel because of several things:
- Spacious room compared to other hotel rooms at the same price level;
- Amenities are also complete, even guests will get bathrobes;
- Good taste and many variant of food during breakfast;
- Strategic location of the hotel because it is connected to the Mall.

Of course I will return to stay at this hotel when visiting Surabaya

But what I don't like is the overpowering indoor perfume in the reception area

Always love staying here, this is like my go to place for a quick escape atleast once a month. To see their progress/changes from way several years ago until today, i can quite say that they able to maintain the overall experience/services offered to guests and kudos to all the people behind. Realistically speaking not all place can do that especially hit with covid in 22/other internal issue. And i do hope they can continue this achievement.

For those new to this place, here’s some of the summary
Pros:
- Spacious room, nice kitchen
- Pretty good tv selection
- Good ambience due to the lighting
- If you stay on weekdays, im pretty sure you can enjoy a quiet chill on the rooftop pool
- Good food & variety, never bore me
- Need anything? you can just go down to the shopping center connected
- Great hospitality
- Complete ammenities

Cons:
- Some room might need a bit of white repaint on some side, like its getting darker/dirtier over times
- Marvell city itself dont provide clear signage for basement parking
- If you need to go down to the basement you have to ask for assistance, i think this is due to safety reasons too
- The pool view is kinda blocked on left side

Here’s what i do wish they can keep
- The change of the bathroom ammenities from box to plastic wrappers, i hope you guys dont change the body wash/toothbrush i really like using it lol
- Maybe offer additional netflix subscription? If its possible(technicality and stuff). Like how you guys did for some time back then during covid

I always had the best service here. The room is super spacious with a built in kitchenette and a small dining room and living room. The price is very reasonable. The parking lot is unfortunately a little bit tricky . Location wise is perfect for my movement . West East and Central Surabaya are all under 20 minutes driving range .

Near city center, close to business and shopping centers. The room itself is kinda a one bed room apartment unit with kitchen, living room, sofa and one big bed room that can hold 2 single beds. Suitable if you bring small kids.

I love everything about this place.Except how slow it is at the restaurant.

We stayed for 2 nights at Midtown Residence and had a great stay! The staff is really helpful and polite, the room is spacious and clean. Highly recommended for travelers who brings their kids

First time staying at this Marvellous Hotel next to Marvell City was the best experience in my hotel experience. Loved the strategic location. Loved the spacious room. Loved the vibe in the restaurant. Loved the food. Loved the Live Music!

ONE REGRET, however, that I stayed only for one night. Cheers!

Staffs are friendly and helpfull.
Rooftop pool offers an amazing city view.
Integrated with a shopping center.
Definitely will stay here again. It feels like home.

fast check in , nice lobby , welcome drink provided, room is huge and full wooden furnished with best view (request high floor). Gym, swimming pool and kidz playground located at the highest floor (love with these facilities and their infinity view), breakfast in the restaurant (also provide sent to room during this pandemic) all i can say all foods are tasty and delicious . definitly will stay again soon.

The check in was relatively slow. But the overall experience is good. My family and I booked a queen sized bed with kitchen. It was really cozy & nice experience.

As frequent surabaya traveler, i find this hotel quite convenient despite the location that is not at the centre of the city.
I always book the one bedroom unit, so it comes with a small kitchenette and dining table. The unit is approx 50sqm. So quite some space to share between myself and spouse. Parking is easily in front of the entrance, room is cleaned daily, so for working couple like us, all we need is convenience, and space big enough for us to wind down at night, cold AC, warm comfortable bed and we get all those here. We do plenty of gosend and grabsend too (food, daily necessities etc) and they are hasslefree to deliver for the drivers, and reception would keep them for me if we are not back yet.

Nice place to stay in hot Surabaya... 😁

Good new hotel.

Pros
- Not too crowded
- Friendly front office and security staffs
- Quiet and spacious room
- Comfortable bed
- Free wifi with good speed
- Strong shower with good temperature
- LCD TV with lots of channels
- Free mineral water, coffe and tea with zero calorie sweetener
- Very near with the mall.

Cons:
- Some of breakfast menus were not ready at 6 AM.
- Restaurant staffs still busy preparing the meals at 6AM
- No zero calorie sweetener in the restaurant

We had a great time in the hotel. People are all very kind, we tried the pool, massages, gym, restaurant. All facilities are good.
I recommend this place.

3-night stayed at Midtown residence, The room is spacious with small kitchen & dinning table, the breakfast menu is varied, it's a good experience to stay for business or with family. Good Job.
