Alam Pangkung Homestay

I stayed here for five months! I enjoyed every minute. It felt nothing but home to me. Agung and her family are very kind and humble people. We became a family. I was treated more than a client who is paying rent. They were caring and treated me like a family member. I once had food poisoning; Agung looked after me, took me to the clinic and prepared special food for me as I couldn’t eat regular food while I was poorly. Anything I need/request would be answered without question. They invited me to attend their religious family ceremonies, and I loved being part of it.
These people are so kind and generous.

The Location is central in Ubud. You are only a few steps away from a tenth of restaurants, shops, bars and a lively, busy area. But! When you are in your room, it is peaceful and quiet, and the room overlooks a jungle with a lovely river. You’ll only hear the voice of nature! And don’t worry, there’ll be no animals in your room because the rooms are high.

This place combines both busy, lively life and a peaceful mediating environment at the same time. I had a table on the balcony, and I used to work there every morning until the afternoon. What a lovely view for work!

It is very safe here if you are travelling solo or if you worry about your belongings, cash or electronics, you will have no reason to worry as the place is secure and safe and the owners are honest people. I left my cash, jewellery and expensive electronic devices every day and nothing was missed.

If you are staying in Ubud and looking for a clean, lovely peaceful place close to the best attractions in Ubud, I recommend this homestay if you’re not looking for a swimming pool. The internet connection wasn’t bad but not great; if you need high speed, there’re many cafes nearby. Campuhan Ridge Walk and another wonderful river is just 5 minutes away.

I was pleasantly surprised by this accommodation. Beautiful, spacious room with an AC and comfortable bed and beautiful hot water in the shower. Absolutely spotless. Great, healthy breakfast choices. Awesome WiFi connectivity. There is a forest view from the balcony rooms with chirping birds and it somewhat dulls away the buzzing city life.

PLUS: The shop on the right hand side in the alley /passage, leading to the reception desk, offers special discounted rates of clothing to all guests...... which is far better priced than the marketplace. Give it a try and you'll be pleasantly surprised too.

Excellent bargain for the price. Just slightly away from the Ubud center so you are not always fighting with the other tourists but close enough to explore on foot (especially since there is always traffic in the evening). Rooms are quiet and clean and breakfast delicious. Bathroom is basic but sufficient. Host may not be always available (they stay upstairs but when they are helpful when they are around).

Super clean and comfy rooms. You'll definitely not regret it.

Location is at the middle of ubud where everything is near. Rooms are super quite at the same time overlooking a green hill.

Super great deal at 15$ a night for a double room including breakfast.

Outstanding Hotel located in a small alcove right in the heart of Ubud. Quiet and serene, spotlessly clean with a super comfortable bed, ice cold air con and piping hot shower with great water pressure. Attached balcony overlooking a wooded hillside makes this hotel a true oasis in chaotic Ubud. Great price can't be beat!

No frills... Just a clean room n toilet.. But located bang in the center of the market.. value for money

what a good hostel! lokasi sangat strategis di jalan raya ubud, diantara halte bus metro dewata di Puri Ubud dan Bukit Campuhan. Kamar sangat bersih dan luasnya cukup dengan view sungai.

Terima kasih untuk owner dan Pak Made atas keramahannya dalam melayani kami. Really reccommend to visit this again! Di hostel juga menyediakan sewa mobil, really reccommend karena driver sangat ramah dan tidak ugal-ugalan dalam mengendarai mobil.

房間很乾淨，房間擺設很簡單，提供的早餐也很簡單，若只要求一個能睡覺的地方，有早餐能吃飽，這樣的價格，很合理。
服務人員親切，地點離烏布市集，離水皇宮也不遠，走路約五分鐘左右。

우붓 메인도로에 위치한 숙소로 생각보다 조용하게 지낼수 있어서 좋았습니다. 방은 깨끗하게 매일 정돈 해주며, 조식은 간단하게 나옵니다. 창문을 열으면 바로 뒤에 산이 위치해 있어서 청솔모 보면서 조용히 지낼수 있어서 좋았습니다. Terimakasih atas kebaikan anda.

우붓메인로드 근처에 있어요 입구가 크지 않아서 알아보기 힘들지만 룸컨디션 가격대비 매우 쾌적하고 좋아요 주인아저씨가 매우 친절하시고 아침 조식에 나오는 계란이 맛있어요👍🏽 다음에도 또 오고싶은 곳이에요
