Okawati Boutique Bungalows

In all my travels this was by far one of my favourite rooms. Fantastic location off the main street but quiet. Okawati herself took the time to introduce herself. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room itself was beautiful. I will certainly stay here on my next trip to Ubud.

I cannot recommend this place enough!! The location was excellent we were in the centre of Ubud. Staff were super friendly and helpful especially Eddie who booked all of our tours for us. The rooms were very clean and the bed was so comfortable. We also had breakfast included which was super tasty. The laundry service was also very fast 😃

We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay! The hotel is in a excellent location, minutes for the centre of Ubud but far enough away from the busy street so that it peaceful & quiet on the grounds. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated in traditional Balinese fashion. Bed is very comfortable & has a mosquito net. The hotel grounds are beautiful like a big garden, green & full of beautiful flowers. There is also a cute little family of resident rabbits there which can been seen hopping around 😊 On top of all of this the staff at this hotel are FANTASTIC. It is a family run business with the family on site themselves to tend to your every need. The are beyond friendly and helpful! We got laundry done there and also a floating breakfast one morning which was amazing and I would highly recommend. Breakfast was delicious both mornings and included a main dish, fruit & drink ( smoothie is delicious). Overall we had an amazing 2 nights here and only wish we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic gem in the heart of Ubud. Close to all amenities, yet quiet from the road. Very friendly staff, lovely pool and charming room with a patch of green out back. A decent breakfast as well.

We had a wonderful experience at Okawati hotel. They were kind and generous and Okawati herself was available for conversation, while she still cares for her beautiful hotel which she opened in 1975. Her son Putu, who is now the owner, was extremely helpful before we even arrived, securing another place for us when they were full. The location is excellent, close to the center of Ubud. The architecture is fabulous. The gardens are beautiful! The breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend them!!

Beautiful traditional hotel set back from the main road, a short walking distance from the palace and main road. The rooms are decorated in a traditional Balinese style, the bed was very comfortable, and the great sized bathroom. Each room had a private balcony with seating. Mine was overlooking the beautiful pool. The dining area overlooking the pool was a great space to enjoy breakfast or simply hang out. The owner and staff are very friendly.

My wife and I stayed in this accommodation for two nights. The staff were amazing especially the elder lady that is always there. The location was perfect in the centre of ubud close to the markets and restaurants all within walking distance. Couldn’t recommend this place more they were so accommodating felt like we were at home

Fabulous location, off the main road & down a walking lane & right in the heart of ubud. Lovely owner & staff. Beautiful Balinese vibe & such pretty Gardens. Pool looked lovely & clean. Only con was our Downstairs room was smelly from damp. Book early & book an upstairs room. 😁

The best hotel near the Monkey Forest. The rooms are spacious with balcony ( also spacious) The design is so kitsch in a very nice way. The ancient Balinese house design makes you feel like you are being transported back in time. Plus the service of the staff is amazing.

I always come back to this hotel whenever I'm in Ubud. And I will keep coming back ☺

I was not sleeping there. I lost my drone somewhere close. Owner helped me in every possible way, even went to water tank to see from above if drone did not landed on the roof !!! Great job, thanks

Wonderful place - recommended. Very safe. I stayed three nights. Big rooms, big lovely beds. Traditional Balinese style rooms, carvings, big balconies, good a/c and WiFi. Great pool, clean and fresh water. Perfect location, close to the main street but very quiet. Lovely kind people. I had a lovely chat with Mrs Okawati, hearing about her incredible life. Thank you.

Great place - a true Balinese gem with the decor that come with it. I slept so well here, the bed were comfortable and the rooms very quite for the fact that it’s located in the center of Ubud. Pool and staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again !

The place is a sanctuary in the middle of Ubud. No noises from the heavy traffic and night life. No breakfast, slow room cleaning, had to as. Rooms small, shower was warm. Air conditioning worked fine. Good price, friendly owner.

this resort type hotel is run by Mrs okawati, friendly okawati. the rooms are nature friendly and well appointed. they have a beautiful pool where you can have breakfast on the water. you have to taste their tea, balinese breakfast, gado gado. the hotel is nearer to all the hotels tourist attractions cabs banks etc. wondeer ful stay

Very quaint setting off the main road. The staff was very friendly. I had an issue with my room and was accommodated immediately!
Breakfast was great. I love Mrs Okawati! SHE IS A GEM!! COME visit America!!

Our room was tidy and clean and we got a nice breakfast. Has Aircon and a fridge. We arrived at 2am with no reservation after issues with our prior hostel and they were awake and provided us with a room. Had an wonderful night. Friendly staff and a nice garden with a pool. A bit pricey for a backpacker so only one night for me, otherwise, excellent.

After 2,5 months of travelling SE Asia this was the place where we finally came to a good rest. Away from the busy streets but very central at the same time makes this hotel a gem in the heard of Ubud. We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms which are ridiculously big, have perfect comfy beds and a super hot shower and bath. Miss Okawati runs this place for more than 30 days already which is clearly visible in how the staff is trained and the gardens are maintained. The home made yoghurt served by the breakfast is a must try!

Loved this place. We stayed for 4 nights and then came back 2 weeks later for another 2 nights. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are clean. The breakfast is delicious with great homemade yoghurt. They also bring you afternoon tea which was also really nice. Wifi is pretty hit and miss but it was that way most places we stayed. Pool area is nice for relaxing and a great area near the monkey forest and market. Thanks very much okawati staff for the great hospitality.

I spent two nights and 3 Days in this hôtel.
It was a great moment, super position, super personnel, very professionel and Nice. It was a really good experience !
They gave us a very good room for honeymoon and a great breakfast on the swimming pool😍
