Nice place to sit under a tree and enjoy the sound of the waves. Not really a swimming beach even when waves are small. Can visit the Subak museum if it is open. No parking fee.

Black sand that blinking like diamond...clear nice beach...just need to put attention on garbage that slightly ruin the view

Coming here as always for lumpia gunting.
Beach quite dirty with visitor's garbage and I think before I come some ceremony was held there.
I wish people will aware with cleanliness and more dustbin available here.

I can’t giving lowest rate as to me (personally), natural beauty cannot be rated.
So, here I just giving information regarding the surroundings area that might helping.

The black sand was beautiful, little rough waves during low tide
Greenery seaweed foreground was eye catching if you like to take picture for your photography galeri.

The area mostly visited local people and many local foods vendors along the sidewalks
On Weekends definitely over crowds

One of the best beach in Gianyar. Many parking space. And have walking trail.

Nice Beach with black sand. Not so overcrowded, but no real infrastructure. For those looking for a quiet place

Were here for ceremonial purpose as this beach is one of the places that Balinese people use to send away the ash of their loved ones and other traditional ceremonies.
The parking lot is larger now and easier to access.
If you feel hungry in the middle of the visit, you can try the fish meatball stall along the beach.

I was there on Kuningan day and it was packed with local. Black sandy beach, not swimmable. Some Balinese usually do ritual called 'ngayut' which is conducted after cremation to drift away the ashes and offerings of the dead
