Gita Maha Hotel

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 weeks and I easily could have stayed for 2 more. The room was very spacious and they always did a great job cleaning and refilling all the amenities. The breakfast was delicious every morning, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The location is outside of the busy center but very easily accessible by motorbike. Plus there are some really great restaurants just across the street (Mai Ubud and Mula Ubud). Overall great stay and I would recommend!

I stayed here for around 3 weeks and the team were fantastic, attentive and quick with any request for help I had.
The rooms are spacious, homey and cleaned well each day but hope that one day in the near future the bottles of water replaced will be made from glass rather than plastic.
I don’t know where the first image of the pool the google review comes from however, as it doesn’t look like the hotel pool.
Sadly there are a few works going on next door (like most places in Ubud- just something to be mindful of). I think this the noise and sights could be covered one day with some natural fencing or trees to make the overall feel by the pool much nicer.
The location I love, it’s a bit further out of Ubud centre but if you have time to walk around, the jungle sights are lovely and different from what you find in Ubud Center. There are some great cafes around, I highly recommend Melali and Muse.
I would stay here again!

Perfect place to stay in Ubud for a while! My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 weeks and are really sad leaving this place again.

Although it's not in the best location in Ubud, it's easily accessible with a motorbike within 8 minutes, and they even provide a shuttle service going 3 times back and forth to and from the city center to Ubud palace.

Also, just in front of the hotel, there are 2 great restaurants with amazing prices! They called 'Mula Ubud' & 'Mai Ubud'.

The breakfast was always super delicious. You have a choice between either a fruit shake or sliced fruit and on top of that American, Continental, or Indonesian breakfast. The American one was basically 2 eggs served in different ways. The continental breakfast was pancakes and I absolutely loved them! Definitely give them a try!

The rooms are spacious as described on the booking platforms and the condition of the hotel is also absolutely fine. It really provides western standards and we highly appreciated the daily cleaning services which ended up in great cleanliness!

Overall, staying at Gita Maha was the perfect accommodation in Ubud and we totally recommend staying here!

My boyfriend and I stayed for nearly a week at Gita Maha Hotel and we very much enjoyed our stay. The team of the hotel is very friendly and always eager to help. We had a Deluxe Room, which was very spacious, well-equipped and clean. The only thing was that the shower door couldn’t be closed, but as there was also a bathtub, we always showered there :)

The pool is very nice and clean. The location is well, there are some nice cafés in close proximity. With a scooter you get in around 7 minutes to Ubud Center.

All in all we recommend staying at Gita Maha. It was a pleasure!

I stayed here over the weekend for staycation. I took Junior suite and was not expected to have such a spacious room which very convenient. The staff really welcome and friendly. Definitely would come back soon

Best hotel to stay as staff and the manager of hotel was so good and helping ☺ I loved all the staff the kutab and the lady on the front desk was so nice and the night staff was also helping

Nice hotel.. big spacious room.. with hot water running all day night.. seperately having shower n bathtub.. as usual Balinese polite staff.. few meters away from Parq.. only recommendations is better breakfast can be provided..

The hotel is located beneath rice paddies in a quiet area a bit outside of noisy Ubud. The staff is very caring and helpful. I didn't expect such a room for a budget price. The room has a nice balcony, shower, bathtub, TV, DVD Player, closet, a lot of space... Everything was clean, even twice a day, leaving good night greetings on a banana leaf. Also included was a nice breakfast with fresh juices, fruits, eggs etc. I would recommend Gita Maha hotel to basically everyone, it was a very pleasant stay and I will definitely book a room again if I'm around Ubud.

The picture was good but REALITY MUCH BETTER. Super CLEAN Big room, king bed with super nice pillows. Nice balcony with rice paddies view and some contructions 😬.
You'll get a surprise with a super big bathroom plus big wardrobe and great bathup.
THE STAFF ARE VERY VERY SUPER FRIENDLY and helpful. I will be back to this place. The price is good, the breakfast is AWESOME.
BEST HOTEL EVER IN BALI

We stayed here for several days and we think it’s a good combination of money-quality. Personnel are very kind and helpful which we very appreciated. We will visit next time for sure.

Amazing place with large rooms , close to ubud center , quiet and cozy environment . Nice morning breakfast and daily houkeeping. Very obident and lovely polite staff very helpful. Trainee staff miss Komang Bintang and all other staff was very courteous, . Love to come back again in future. @amazing 6 nights with unforgettable memories to take back... 🙏

I stayed there before, it was good, big rooms very nice swimming pool. I booked again, we arrived and we find out, that I made a huge mistake with my booking. I booked a month later, but the manager moved us for one night in a different place and the next day we stay with Gita Mahal. I am very happy with the solution, as the manager tried his best !

Very quiet place in crowded Ubud, near ricefield, about 10 minute drive to Tegalang rice terrace, 5-10 minute drive to Ubud art market,main road. Relaxing pool area, not big, but beautiful garden. The food is very tasty, friendly and helpful staff, big room,big bathroom, for that price is excellent

This is a hidden gem. Lovely small hotel. Clean and fantastic service from all staff, especially Kaudel. Great pool - just need a scooter or use the shuttle bus to get around.

I would like to thank you to all the staff who made our stay unforgettable. Everyone was extremely polite and friendly.
The free shuttle to the centre is a bonus.

Nice place to stay, it had hot tubs, bathub, shower. Nice view from the bed. The room was big enough and very comfortable to stay

If you are looking for a place to stay in Ubud but outside the busy area. This accomodation can be an alternative.
Greatbplace with swimming pool and quiet.

Stunning hotels, clean and really relaxing place. Friendly staf and they have special tasty papaya topping. Different but delicious.

Clean, spacious room, amazing dry bathroom with tub and separate room for toilets, clean pool, safebox available, bathrobe available, beers and mineral water are available and not too pricey

Friendly and helpful stuff. Really good service, delicious food, spacious rooms. All this in good price. 11/10 :)
