Sekumpul Accommodation

We wanted to visit Sekumpal Waterfall. We are glad that we stayed here. It would have been really sad to drive out after seeing and experiencing such a great waterfall.
There are 3 rooms with a verandah and a great view at the upper level and 1 smaller room at a lower level.
Pros:
1.Location absolutely next to the gate of the best waterfall in Bali.
2. Discount passes, which allows you to visit the 2 waterfalls at 30.000 idr instead of the scam by the local goons, which forces you to cough up ten times the money.
3. Great value for money. It was the cheapest room we had in Bali.
4. Specious and comfortable room.
5. Rock cut toilet with an open to sky skylight
6. Lovely mountain view.
7. Good landscape and site development
8. Good food and breakfast
9. Great hosts Agus and his wife
10. The sky that's seen from here is fabulous. Millions of stars.

Cons:
1. The geyser didn't work for a long time.
2. No AC, but it didn't make a difference because this is a mountain resort, and it's cool. They had a tower fan. We were comfortable in September 23.
3. The road that leads to the Sekumpal waterfall and accommodation is narrow and steep. The driver has to be an expert.
4. One has to have his own transportation to come here. We had our car so we were fine.

Overall, it was our best decision to stay here.

this hotel is even more amazing than the photos show. And then there's the staff... Agus is an amazing host! He and all the staff made sure we had a great stay, from arranging transport from the airport to giving us the advice that we should do the waterfall tour on a different day than we had planned as it would be much quieter, plus great hospitality and food delicious for every meal. We cannot recommend a stay at Sekumpul accommodation highly enough and will definitely stay there again when we come back to north Bali!

Amazing place to stay for really fair price with great service! Strongly recommended if you want to check out the waterfalls and stay in quiet & cozy place to rest in the mountains. Gotta come back again! 👍

An incredibly beautiful place to relax. Agus is a very friendly owner, always helpful and immediately responds to all requests. Everything is clean and well maintained. Not to forget the excellent restaurant. Everything is freshly prepared and tastes great. if you stay at sekumpul accommodation you get the best option to visit sekumpul waterfall,, walk 10 minutes to the waterfall alone and pay only 30k to enter as they will give you an identity card. That's what we do and I think it's the best option to enjoy yourself the waterfalls around the area and help the local people instead of being a con.

This was our favorite stay in Bali! A week of kindness and being welcomed into local life by Agus and the whole family. The restaurant and location are amazing. The room was big, comfortable, clean, private with great mountain views from the patio. Come with respect and you’ll have an amazing time :)

I really enjoyed my stay at Sekumpul Guesthouse. I was supposed to stay only one night, but I ended up staying another night just to enjoy the view and the Sekumpul waterfall. this guest house is located in a small village surrounded by beautiful rice fields, mountains, sea views. AGUS (the owner) made sure I had everything I needed. The room is beautiful, the view from the room is also beautiful (forest and mountains). The guest house is also very close to Sekumpul waterfall (the highest waterfall in Bali), and you can hear the sound of birds in the morning.
I ate at sekumpul restaurant and the food was great (and cheap)!Sekumpul accommodation is by far my favorite in Bali, I don't think you can get better quality for that price.

We spent 2 nights in this accommodation. The mountain view from room and restaurant is something I would never get tired of. Room is comfortable and very clean, it have everything you need. Host and his family are very welcoming and warm people and make you feel like home the very first moment you arrive. Their restaurant is must try, best indonesian food I have ever had. My favorite is Pepes :) And this is not everything… the best waterfall in Bali is just 5-10 min walk from their place and you can enter without guide

The best place to stay if you’re heading up to see Sekumpul. The location couldn’t be closer to the waterfalls and the food was amazing! I’ll be returning soon!

The best accomodations of all time!! The price was so cheap , but the room was totally huge and clean, didn't expect gonna get that, and the breakfast too was good and tasty, definitely will comeback again.

I had an amazing time at this accommodation, the location is gorgeous and the hosts are really welcoming. The best place to stay if you want to visit the waterfalls. The food is also really good.

Waterfall parking here. There are about 4 places where people ask you to stop to pay for the Sekumpul Waterfall en route to the ticket office, but those are all unofficial, even though they have signs and the young locals seem quite insistent, simply drive on and say you're going to Sekumpul Accommodation. Once parked here, you walk 100meters down to the actual ticket box, where you'll get a wrist band and have 3 options of prices and routes. With all of these you get a legit guide who knows the routes, they are very helpful. Would recommend taking the 125k option, which takes you to Hidden Waterfall 1st, and then Sekumpul Waterfall, where you have a swim in the surprisingly warm water. Take sandals, as you'll have to cross some water. Must admit the road/drive to the waterfall isn't great, and you might second guess if it's worth it, but it really is! We've been to Bali 4 times and this is the best waterfall experience we've had. Grab a drink at the Accommodation afterwards as a thank for the parking and friendly welcome. Enjoy!

We love staying at sekumpul accommodation in sekumpul village and do not consider this property to be a Bed & Breakfast. This is a simple and beautiful modern holiday home in the village. accommodation means a place to live or a home, and this place provides us with practically everything we need for our holiday, everything simple. And it is VERY BEAUTIFUL. Surrounded by green mountains, coconut and durian trees, this property is managed quite well by the owner and staff who took care of our needs during our holiday. Both bedrooms are comfortable with standard home stay facilities. One bedroom has its own shower with hot water and toilet, with a modern and natural design, which when we arrived was still under construction, but the trade was well managed and didn't bother us at all, much appreciated. The other bedroom which has 2 separate beds is spaciously placed . All the beds were comfortable enough to sleep in, the owner served us delicious and made-to-order breakfast options. This is truly wise because staying in a holiday home in a location like this, all you want is to enjoy the sights, sights and attractions around it so catering to your needs and food really makes your vacation worthy and enjoyable. A tourist spot highlight that we loved during our stay is the famous Sekumpul Waterfall, which is only a 200 meter walk to the Sekumpul waterfall location. This is a magical place, not only 1 waterfall, there are 3 waterfalls which are amazing. Yes, it takes effort to walk down and up this waterfall but we love this activity. We stayed in the accommodation for 4 nights and had a great time visiting nearby places, Singaraja town, Banjar hot springs, Lovina beach (less than 1 hour drive), Mimpi Menjangan, around 2 hours drive and 1/2 hour boat ride to snorkelling at Menjangan island and beautiful dive-snorkeling sites at Amed-Tulamben-Jemeluk (about 1.5 hours drive).
This lovely holiday home we heard was the only one in Sawan village, and we were sure with the pool completed in a few months we should be back. We just loved it even without the pool, and with that added wow what a definite return. We love the serenity and peace of this place, , beautiful. Our 2 teenagers aged 11 and 16 didn't get bored at all and enjoyed living here so much and learned so much that they shared the culture and experience with their schoolmates in Sydney. Many thanks to Agus and family for this wonderful stay and unforgettable memories. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this holiday home to anyone looking to have the same enjoyable holiday we had. Again, let's just say, PRETTY BEAUTIFUL.

Everything went perfectly well when I and my wife stayed here for 4 days. The accomodations are clean and organized. Food is very good in the restaurant. Best part is for sure the people running the place. They made everything to meet our needs and expectations. Incredible place and incredible people! (Kisses to Mario 🥰)

The perfect bed and breakfast if you want to explore Balis north and especially the sekumpul waterfall (which is the most beautiful on the island without doubt)

Nice accommodation near waterfall. Helpuful, and supportive staff. Nice food, drinks, organic fruits. They customized vegetarian options for us. Vegetarian pizza, urab (coconut based vegetarian dish), and veg nasi goreng were nice.

Rooms were exactly as expected from photos, hot water was a bit spotty but it was a great experience. Very attentive staff and cheap prices for food and drinks.
