HIDDEN WATERFALL SEKUMPUL

Down to the blue stair and turn left you will see it. Way through the river

Known as ‘Hidden Waterfall’ I actually preferred this to the better known Sekumpul. It’s not as high but the pool at the bottom is amazing for swimming in. Only 2-3 mins walk from Sekumpul.

Must see if you are visiting the Sekumpul waterfall, even less crowded and also very beautiful

They force you to buy a guided tour for 200k when the actual entrance fee is 20k. If you only pay 20k They only allow you to walk until a viewpoint. Just a mafia that ruins your trip. You don't need a guide. The way down are stairs perfectly made. No chance of falling or anything. Just don't go there. Boycott !!

Don't bother, these places in Bali are being ruined by the "mafia" that extort you for money with aggressive behavior. They are the ones ruining a sacred site and disrespecting their own culture. This is all a real shame.

Do not come here unless you enjoy being ripped off by locals. Don't trust anything anyone says here especially this guy with one eye that sits in a little wooden hut. They force you to pay for a guide for a 20 minute walk; And if you call them out on it they kick you out. A wonderful place ruined by local mafia, as seems to start becoming a pattern in Bali. Do not recommend bothering to do the trip here.

If you do go, don't pay anyone more than 20k IDR, and if you don't want a guide, don't let them sell you one.

I didn't think the local mafia could be that bad, but they are particularly worse in this place than in other parts of bali. Don't come here.

Ruim 10km voordat we aan zouden komen werden wij tegengehouden door een zelf opgezet entree punt door een groep jongeren gasten. Zij vroegen verschillende bedragen aan verschillende toeristen, variërend van 300K tot 600K voor twee personen! Ze gaven aan dat dit was voor de toegang en verzekering, belachelijk. Aan alles was te merken dat dit niet legitiem was! Wij zijn daardoor nooit bij de Hidden Waterfalls aangekomen, maar omgedraaid en onze weg vervolgd. Genoeg andere mooie watervallen in de omgeving.
