Sekumpul waterfall view point

If you don't want to be ripped off, you have 2 options here:
1- You drive to the main entrance of the waterfall (sekumpul waterfall view point) and you pay 150k to go with a guide, by the way you don't need one at all.

2- you stay in sekumpul accommodation its 300m to the waterfall for one night 200k or less and you walk yourself 10 minutes to the waterfall and only pay 30k to enter as they will give you ID. That's what we do and I think it's the best choice to enjoy yourself the waterfalls around the area and to help local people instead of scammers.

Beautiful view point for 20.000 IDR. The path is a bit slippery, so be careful.
Be aware of scam: there are options of 150.000 IDR and 250.000 IDR for a short and long waterfall walk with guide, but they won’t tell you that you can go to a viewpoint for 20.000 IDR.

This place is heaven.
It is very far from Denpasar, but it is worth going so far.
I had enjoyed alot.
Becareful with guides, they ask for hefty 2,50,000 to 4,00,000 Indonesian rupiya.
Simply say I came earlier here or my friend already came and he gave very less around 1,50,000.
But it is safe to have them as the route is tricky and hard to find.

This is the official site. Another one with the same name appeared on google maps but it was not the official one and they tried to stop us I guess to try to charge us the outrageous prices I have read in other comments. One trick we used that worked for us was to say we were going to a Jungle Homestay, not a waterfall; They will let you pass quietly and follow the narrow road which seems to be for people but you can easily go by motorbike, you will arrive at the official site (this is where I wrote a comment) where you can buy a ticket for RP20,000 ( this price is only to see the waterfall, if you want to take a shower the price is IDR 125,000) Attached is a photo of the official parking lot that must be visited

Wann hatten große Bedenken wegen der sogenannten Mafia. Wurden 2x zum parken des Rollers angerufen, einfach ignoriert und weitergefahren. Der Rest ist einfach grandios, die Landschaft der Wasserfälle sagenhaft.
Haben die kleine Runde für 150.000 Rupien p.P. gezahlt inkl. Guide.

Eine negative Anmerkung gibt es noch. Ich verstehe nicht warum die Guide's keinen Müll (Plastik) mit nach oben nehmen. So könnte man diesen schönen Ort etwas sauberer halten.

Fantastyczna miejsce, gdzie można z bliska podziwiać piękno przyrody. Niestety opanowane przez naciągaczy, którzy bez wykupienia u nich "przewodnika" posuwają się do agresji i blokują dostęp do szlaku, mimo kupionego biletu.

Vieta fantastinė, patartina turėti "vandens" batus. Filmuoti, fotografuoti išeina tik su apsauga nuo vandens nes 50 metrų atstumu nuo krioklio eina vandens purslai . Neapsigaukite su "gidais" kurie jus pasitinka dar gerokai iki įvažiavimo į krioklius ir prašo už bilieta 300-500 k. , ištiesų bilietas į krioklius kainauoja 20 k. asmeniui ir kontrolierius yra arčiau kroklių ir dėvi uniformą.

Wir waren aufgrund der Bewertungen sehr skeptisch und wollten eigentlich nicht hin fahren. Doch unsere Villen Gastgeber haben es empfohlen.

Wir haben die große Wanderung gemacht.
250.000 pro Person klang am Anfang viel. Handeln aussichtslos. Anfangs waren wir wirklich sehr skeptisch.

Wir sind eine Gruppe mit 4 Erwachsene und einem Kind mit 12 Monaten.

Der Guide war wundervoll. Auf dem Weg hat er uns super viel über die Gegend & Pflanzen erzählt.

An den Aussichtspunkten hat er immer richtig tolle Fotos von uns gemacht. Er hat Wasser für uns mitgetragen, uns an Ständen gratis Früchte probieren lassen & für das Baby hat er einfach so Bananen organisiert.

Die Wasserfälle sind wundervoll! ❤ Die Natur ein Traum & als wir am Vormittag da waren, hatten wir die Wasserfälle fast immer für uns alleine.

Ohne den Guide hätte ich die Wanderung nicht machen wollen. Er hat geholfen, erklärt und immer die besten Wege gezeigt.

Auf dem Weg von einem zum anderen Wasserfall gibt es einen Kiosk wo wir zu guten Preisen Obst gegessen haben. Es hätte auch Getränke, Kekse & Chips gegeben. Klar etwas teurer als im Supermarkt, aber gerechtfertigt. Ich will das da nicht runter schleppen :)

Die drei Wasserfälle und der Weg dazwischen waren ein Traum! Ich kann dir Tour echt empfehlen, aber muss auch sagen, dass kein Guide der uns entgegen gekommen ist, so herzlich, engagiert und toll war wie unser Guide.

Info: nach den 300 Stufen vom Wasserfall zur Zivilisation gibts Roller die einen für 20.000 hoch fahren. Das spart richtig Zeit & Kraft :)

Wir würden wirklich wieder kommen!

In der Hochsaison könnt ich’s mir aber nicht vorstellen. Da find ich aber auch alles hier einfach überfüllt :)
