We went here from Kintamani. 40 minutes rides because of the rain 😁, You need to check the weather before you go if you go with motorbike.
.
My husband and I were so happy when we arrived here. After we parked our motorcycle, we clean up our self first. The toilet near parking lot. Not far form there we can buy tickets and going in.
.
Practically you will see the same design of gate in this house complex. You can see the culture and religious aspects on the building. All the house open their gates, some of the people sell drinks, goods or open clothing rentals and offer photograph packages. The tourists looks so beautiful and handsome in the locals cloths.
.
If you turn right, you can see from a far big Pura at the end of the road. Don't forget to take a picture there.
.
Each house has different design of private temple. Some have a grand temple, and some have a clean and beautiful garden. Great experience.
.
I regret not buying durian there 🥰🥰 it looks so yummy but my Husband can't eat it.
.
We returned to Ubud for 40 minutes rides.

This village is a true gem! Immerse yourself in history with its beautifully preserved traditional buildings. Vehicles are a no-go, making it a serene walking haven. Picture-perfect Balinese village scenes come to life with friendly locals who graciously allow visitors to capture the charm of their homes. Souvenir shops and food stalls add to the experience. Opting for a morning visit pays off, offering a perfect blend of cool temperatures and fewer crowds. For an extra touch, rent traditional clothes and dive into the rich cultural atmosphere.

Just like what people said, the village was squeaky clean. I arrived in the afternoon and it was a perfect time to be there. Rented Balinese traditional clothes at the House No. 36. The young lady was very helpful and the price was nice. They also sell souvenirs and clothing inside the village. Overall, had a good time there.

The village still maintains its traditional culture, traditions and way of life. And it is one of the cleanest villages in the world. If you want to visit here, it's recommended to come on a weekday because there aren't many tourists.

What an amazing village! The buildings so historically and traditional. No vehicle allowed inside the village, you can only walk in here. Sometimes crowded because the enthusiastic from the people who visiting this village.

Sometimes when you explore into the house, you can find some hidden store, like they sell good stuff or traditional food.

Absolutely stunning village and the people are so friendly and kind here. You have to pay 50,000 IDR to enter as a foreigner and you get to see the locals selling clothes, souvenirs, foods and drinks.

It does get a bit crowded later during the day but best time to visit is the morning.

I have a doubt that this village is the most clean village in the world. Because i found some trash in this village. I know it because of the visitors. But this village is amazing, they still live in culture. I suggest u to visit this village in thr evening because the sunset will be spectacular. You can also buy some souvenirs here, there are some dress rental if you want to dress like a local Balinese

Very exciting experience where we spend approx. 2 hours including lunch for a relatively cheap price. We also rented traditional Balinese clothes which made the whole experience a lot more fun. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Loved our little adventure in the early morning from Canggu to Penglipuran. We went on the Sunday after Galungan. Arrived about 8:15 and it was still pretty empty and it was cool weather. Over the next hour it filled up quickly and got busier. Entrance fee was reasonable. Highly recommend!

This village is very beautiful and the people who live there are very friendly and kind.
We were allowed to enter and see the condition of people's houses. many residents sell clothes, souvenirs, food and drinks.
I suggest coming to this place in the morning, because it will be crowded with tourists during the day.
Above the village there is a fairly extensive bamboo forest. there is a cafe and a large flower plantation.

This place was very busy when we arrived with lots of coach tours coming from all over the island we wandered off up into a beautiful bamboo folist and sat down for a nice, cool drink. When we returned to the village, it was virtually empty, so we had time to enjoy looking around.

This place is charming but crowded. Many people visited this place, but kinda ok. The villagers were very welcome to the visitors. We could also take a look at their house and learn something there, as each house or area has 4 sections for praying, the bale for meeting, the bedroom for the elderly, and I forgot the last one. There are many numbers of people living in that house. If you have time, you can visit the bamboo forest. It has a nice vibe. It's peaceful. There is a cafe inside.

Should you would like to have the place more quiet you need to go there early in the morning. Therefore you could take as many pictures as you want. The route choice if you ride motorcycles is really nice, it goes with rice fields and green scenery with nice weather.

Nice environment, nice place. Provides a really good experience and traditional Bali village. Was here on weekday. Can't imagine how crowded it'll be on weekends or high seasons.

Very cute village! Was quite a number of tourists there but was still cool. Make sure you explore around it as well. There is a bamboo forest and markets either side of the main strip so make sure you help out the locals. $50,000 entry fee

Clean village with balinese building architecture. Go to this place in the morning for the best weather, or bring umbrella just in case because the sun won't be your best friend here
