Goa Pindul Jogja

Pindul caves are a collection of number of caves which have small water bodies flowing through it. Ultimately all these water bodies meet the small river flowing in the village.

Currently there are 12 companies doing the cave tour, you can pick any of those. The tour is for about 30 minutes where they guide you through cave on a tube. The calcite formations inside the cave are interesting. Also some small bat species (fruit bat and masquito eating bats) live inside the caves. The guide will explain everything throughout the tour.

Once the cave trip is done, you have option to go tubing in the river. For this they will take you to another spot. The approach is rough and sometimes dirty, but the river is amazing. It has warm water flowing through surrounding paddy fields as well as cold water flowing through caves. There are slso couple of spots at which you can do cliff jumping (4 meters and 7 meters). End of the river tubing trip you will get to see beautiful paddy fields, which are far better than the paddy fields you see in Bali.
Overall its a fun experience and you can do it with your family including kids.

Its a good experience. I came here when it’s rained. The water looked so brown. But the positive one was, i can enjoyed the rivers when the rain falls. Looks i got alot have fun played with waters when my body from hair to toe are wet. If it wasn’t rain, maybe just half of my body is wets. Because I can’t swim too, so i didnt jump from the rock.

The trip offers us an amazing view, the water is clear and fresh. It would be more preferable if you went on the trip on the afternoon since the lighting would be on point. Although morning trips is also a good option

We were there last week during the rainy season. We were lucky as it only rained at the end of the activity when we were still in the cave so we waited for the rain to calm down before going down. If I could give more than 5 stars I would because our tour guide Thomas was fabulous, had lots of humour and gave us a memorable and fun visit. There are amenities to take shower and get changed, so better you come prepared with some spare clothes and some slippers to go through the road to the cave. Our guide was really helpful in keeping our shoes with a cord he had so that we would not lose them (but they will get wet like every part of your body!) but the water was not cold. He also knows every good place and tips to help us take pictures. If you go to Yogjakarta, I would recommend this place. After the tour is over they also give you a delicious hot ginger tea that you can help yourself and refill at will to keep you warm after your adventure in the cave. 😊

It takes around 2 hours to get to this place. The locals will provide you with all the things you need but you need to rent each item. Even the restroom/changing room would cost you some money (2000 IDR). The tour is not really extreme. Actually it is relaxing. The locals are very nice though they cannot speak english well. The tour would cost youu 200,000 rupiahs that also includes instant noodles.

This cave is a great place to have a different holiday experience.

Great experience we got there! Guide was friendly and a lil bit funny (re: jayus). Weekday is the best time to go here. Adventure seeker have to try the 8m jump!

The location is very close to Pindul Cave itself, so for pindul cave tubing can be reached by walking, and the other one by pick up car.
The guide was very friendly, and spoke english well, very helpful, and helped us to take a picture inside of the cave, Thank you Mr. Thomas for your such a great service

We pay idr 260k per person for 3 attractions, cave tubing at pindul cave, river tubing at oyo river and boat cave at tanding cave. Each have their own story so pay attention what your guide is telling you. You can jump at 9 meters at oyo river if you are adrenalin rush or just swim at the unfortunately not clean water which caused by the flood few years ago . You can ask for your guide to bring you near the bride waterfall and take photos there. At pindul cave you can jump by the rocks inside. Tanding cave is the largest cave but not many people visited there. Guides are nice and friendly. Dont bring anything with you when you do the cave tubing bcos its gonna be wet. You can just put it in the locker prepared at the tourism guides there. Enjoy the cave tubing!
