I had a great stay at this hotel. It's definitely a recommended choice, offering excellent value for the price. The room was clean and comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed the convenience of having a cafe on-site. Overall, a solid option for travelers looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Clean room, friendly staff and it is nearby the MRT Setiabudi. So it is easy to get to public transportation. They have small gym and a rooftop cafe. Room service is available until 10PM, you can order food by scanning the QR code provided in the room. No need to make a call. Overall it was a lovely experience.

Loving the place here. It might seems a bit over the usual price range offered by similar accomodations in Jakarta. However, the location and service kinda compensate. The standard (superior) room might be small (and some have only a tiny window) but it is comfortable. I am delighted with ice coffee as welcome drink, although the breakfast has only limited variations. They have also dining area and bar in the rooftop - so maybe avoid 3rd floor when you stay here. Overall, I'm happy with my staycation experience.

The room was absolutely beautiful and the service was incredible. All the staff that we spoke to were incredibly helpful and friendly. A particular shout out to the concierge and the the cafe staff (Alesha) who made us amazing breakfast and made us feel at home. 10/10 service (also breakfast was great and would recommend the yellow rice)

Worth every penny. Location wise, it's in the heart of Central Jakarta. Close to Plaza Indonesia, Grand Indonesia, Setiabudhi One, Plaza Senayan & Senayan City. Rate wise, super affordable for everyone. There's even roof top with beautiful view of Central Jakarta with nice dinner menus. Absolutely recommended for travellers.

9/10 for me! Love the room! Ample size for city explorers, close to mrt, easy check in and out, clean bathroom, cool AC, and love the lobby and rooftop bar (tho quite pricey for us). I like that they provide a carafe and glasses, free water refill from dispenser.
Minus only that the towels look tired, and no handsoap by the basin - made a mess when i want to wash my hand, taking soap from shower area then back to basin. Walls rather thin, neighbouring sneezes can be heard but not distrubing. Def will be back when we visit jakarta.

Stayed here for 1 night when in Jakarta. Amazing, quaint boutique space with the reception entryway serving as a cafe. 🍃☕ It seems like people come here to work remotely too. Makes it a chill vibe.

During check in, the staff were really friendly and helpful. We took the room with the balcony. It was clean with a great view. The shower gels also smell great. 😎 They had a smart TV with netflix and youtube!! BIG PLUS. Would definitely come back again.

First time stayed here and really satisfied of all the facilities and services they provided. The staffs were very helpful, room is spacious enough for hotel of this class, really cozy and they even have smart TV inside so you can binge watching Netflix/Youtube. I also tried to have dinner at their restaurant and it was great. Tasty foods, good ambience and you can enjoy the breeze on the rooftop. Really recommended!

I normally don’t leave reviews for Hotels because often time it’s a personal experience which varies from person to person, and day to day. There are just too many factors that can influence the overall experience, more so than ever now with the impact of COVID. However, this time it’s different because I got to spend an entire month at La Boheme. And I can say with confidence that it was one of the most delightful and charming experience. Let me share my experience with you.

The Location:
The location was perfect for my stay, central and conveniient. It was a 10 minute walk to the Citywalk plaza, 5 minutes to Indofood tower, and a 7 minute bike ride to plaza Indonesia. The train to Bandung is also close by, perfect for a day trip. Other things within walking distance includes a wide variety of authentic street food, coin laundry, and convenience store such as Alfamart and Indomart. I recommend you check out the Nasi Padang place called Rumah Macan Manunggal and the Ayam Bakar place in front of the hotel Enak! Enak!

First Impression:
One of the things that surprised me when I arrived was how well maintained and modern the building is. You walk through the door and can immediately smell the coffee. And I highly recommend that you try their Latte and iced long black, similar to an iced Americano. The beans are solid, and it’s much better than the stuff you get at the brand name places (I won’t mention any names - green straws). Aside from the coffee, there are many areas to sit, indoor, outdoor, and even the rooftop which have a panoramic view of the city skylines. So far, you are already off to a good start.

The Place:
Now for more important matters, the room. The room I booked was called the “Hippie Deluxe” which was spacious and smartly designed with a natural touch. There is a collapsable wooden table that allows you to set up your laptop and get work done. A mini fridge is also included, which is essential for a long term stay. If you travel as much as I do, you know how tiring it is to eat out all the time and needing to store leftovers. The room I stayed in also have a large window that can be open with a nice view of the city, which I appreciate. A smart tv is also included with access to popular streaming apps like Netflix and YouTube. The bathroom is spacious with a stand up shower, well designed, clean, and a rack to hang your towel and clothes which is often missing from other hotels. And I didn’t need to ask for toiletries, a set of toothbrush and toothpaste was already included when I arrived. A small but important detail that the big boys in the hotel industry often neglect. But not La Boheme, because they care.

The People:
If you got this far, then you made it to the best part of this review which I will now speak about the staff. Like I had mentioned before, I travel quite a lot, for work and for pleasure. And I have stayed at hotels that ranges from hundreds to a few thousand dollars a week. And what amazes me with La Boheme is how well trained, professional, and friendly the staff are. From what I can see, they operate more like a family run business, with great teamwork, that understands what it takes to deliver a good customer experience. I wanted to give attention to this point because I think this is the missing link in todays hospitality industry. And I hope that other travelers, like myself, will also get to enjoy the same experience that I had at La Boheme. My entire stay felt like a home away from home because of the people here. So kudos to the entire team including management.

One thing I left out of this review was the Live Band that performs every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday! Good Music, Good Food, and Good Vibes! What more can you ask for?!

Im so in love with this place. Such a hidden gem in the center of Jakarta. Let see the style, it brings the greeneries inside and the wooden things as well, these gives us a calm and cool ambience. The staffs were so nice and helpful, very humble. The foods were good. The room itself was comfortable and tidy. If I have another chance to stay here, I will have the suite room one. It was great experience for staying here.

Stayed with them for a month because I was working remotely from Jakarta. All I can say is that I really enjoyed my stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I personally don't need much, but the room had everything you need. The bathroom was well equipped with quality soap/shampoo, there was a small refrigerator and little locker if you needed it and there was a bottle which you could refill with (warm) drinkwater from the hall. There was a small gym available with weights and a treadmill to do cardio. It's not much, but enough if you wanted to do a quick workout. You could also do a quick run outside along the jl. sudirman road (on sunday mornings its car free day). If you wanted to chill, the rooftop was an excellent space for it. Especially during the evening, the view from there was wonderful. They often have musicians/djs over during the weekends which makes it a fun place to have a drink or two. If you wanted, you could also do some work there, or the lobby/cafe if you prefer AC.

Location-wise, La Boheme is an excellent starting point. It's close to an MRT stop (Setiabudi Astra) and a train station (Stasiun Sudirman). Also if you don't mind walking, you can even walk to Grand Indonesia/Plaza Indonesia and even SCBD/Pacific Place. Obviously, everything else is just a Gojek/Gocar/Bluebird/Grab away. There are also a couple of coffee places in the area and plenty of food joints if you wanted to grab a quick bite.

I didn't know what to expect when I booked a room with them, but I'm glad I did!

Cute interior hotel in the center of South Jakarta. Close to everywhere. Will be back for sure!
