Gandari is a small Balinese village occupied by less than 100 families who mostly are a part of the Narmada Temple guardian community. The people of Gandari consistently keep practicing the ancient traditions of Balinese Hindu in their daily life.

As most of the Balinese Hindu villages, Gandari also has its own temple called Kaweri 'means; The Sacred River'. .
Situated right next door to the Hindu historical site Narmada Water Palace, Pura Kaweri maybe just a small temple compared to many other temples in Lombok but is quite an interesting place to visit.

Surrounded by lush green vegetations, hundreds of years old Banyan trees, scenic rice terraces and number of springwater pools, Pura Kaweri offers true essences of a peaceful natural retreat.

If you have ever thought of finding a place in Lombok that looks a bit like the Tirta Empul in Bali, then Pura Kaweri is the perfect match to your search.

Located just down from the main road. A beautiful place especially in the morning. Because it is a temple, please be respectful when visiting the area.
There are some banyan trees which make the area looks cool and mythical. Keep walking to the rice field, the view is pretty just before you walk into the inner gate. There are some ponds and berugags to sit and relax.
The place has so much water. Local can bath in the running pond covering themselves in yellow clothes that have been provided near by. So clear, fresh and cool.

Pura Narmada is a Temple of Hindu's on the side of Narmada Park, in the position of highland of Narmada Park area. When you stand in the out side of the Temple, then you can facing to the Bale Terang. Bale Terang mean Light House, the place of the King to enjoy view of Telaga Wangi (fragrance pool) when the concubines were playing water
