It was KAREL ALBERT RUDOLF BOSCHA 's cottage, located in the middle of tea plantation, and his tomb is not far away from this site

The cottage now is managed by perhutani along with the tea plantation

Heritage and full historical, there is house of owner malabar tea garden, Mr. KAR Boscha. We know Boscha as founder Boscha telescope Lembang and one person to contribute ITB.

Wow what a nice place to visit. Slavery was real. A hidden gem on our trip in Java. It was a long way from the city Bandung but totally worth it. The history the island had with the Netherlands want burned into everything the area had to offer. As a Dutchman I really recommend this to all the fellow Dutchies.

This place is one of a historical building in Pangalengan, located in the middle of a tea plantation. It's quite far from a city, so if you plan to stay a bit longer don't forget to bring some food.
It is great for family gathering or incentive programs.

Great place for weekend getaway to breath fresh air and to learn about the tea culture in West Java. Should bring warm clothes because the temperature at night hits around 10 degrees Celcius.

Malabar Tea House is also known as Agrowisata PTPN VIII or as Mess Malabar/Mess Bosscha by the locals. The estate was established in 1896, when KAR Bosscha administered the Malabar tea plantation. I stayed there with my husband for 3 nights and overall it was a great experience. Located in the middle of the vast, historic, and beautiful tea plantation, the Estate hosts the old house where Bosscha used to reside, and offers accommodations in a guesthouse and wooden houses with tea plantation at their backyard. The lawn and garden around the estate is so well kept and laced with colorful tropical flowers and folliages. Tea plantation is just a few steps away so we could always have nice walks. The staff are very hospitable and kind.

This place has a lot of history aspects. For the one who love about our Indonesia history, you can go and check.

Malabar at PTPN 12 is a grat place for enjoying nature as well as studying the history of a dutch man that found this location. His name is Bosscha.
