Patenggang Lake

Beautiful lake located near Bandung in Ciwidey area. To go there we gonna passed by beautiful tea tree plantation. The lake is beautiful and I have a blast time capturing its beauty through my lens. The route to reach Situ Patenggang or also called Situ Patengan is winding and though up and down terrain, so prepare your car to go through this route. There're also many glamping sites and resorts near this lake for you guys whom planning to stay more than a day. Overall, it's a nice experience visiting Situ Patenggang.

The weather is pleasant, the scenery is peaceful and beautiful ~ This is perhaps my favorite place in Indonesia so far :)))))))

Such a beautiful lake in high terrain.

You can buy fresh strawberry there even pick up directly from the tree. If you want to circling the lake with boat, just spend 10k/person it will be done nicely.

You want a little bit sport activity, try the paddle boat for 40k/boat.

There are 3 types of ticket (for local tourist):
1. Just for Patenggang lake: 25k per person
2. Pass Ticket (Lake, Golesat, Rabbit hill, strawberry farm): 50k per person
3. Complete Ticket (Lake, Golesat, Rabbit Hill, strawberry farm, Phinisi bridge, Spider balcony): 100k per person.

Choose based on your capability. Its worth the price, for any ticket. For sure, if you want to spend the night, different price will be charged. The glamping facilities also available there.

Overall it's really recommended place.

The most beautiful natural place in south bandung. The natural beauty surrounding the lake makes you relax. Apart from the beautiful nature, there are also various booths selling food or souvenirs. In addition, there is a unique restaurant with a pinisi boat concept on the edge of the lake. With an affordable ticket price, it is in accordance with the beautiful nature.

The first time I went to this place is around 7 years ago. At that time, only few people know this place. But this time, I would like to say this is the most peaceful place that I've ever found.

Situ patenggang (in sunda means "search and find) is one of the most popular place in Bandung, Indonesia. With width more than 45ha (only the lake, anything else is not included). The water in the lake is really pure and if you came when the rain fall down, without exaggerating I think you could say this place could clean your entire soul.

The air is really fresh while the scenery absolutely perfect. It is only 6hours from Jakarta. So, while you have a time, don't miss it.

Beautiful lake in the middle of the city of ciwidey

Great place to relax. There are massive tea plantations along the road. Most services are provided by local vendors.

Sugest you come at 4. 30-5pm, why? Here the reasons.
1. Not many people. At this hour people start leave this area, so you just like own lake.
2. Fog come down around 5pm. You will find awesome view.
3. You can rent private boat with cheap price Compare when they have many people hours before. You can pay 120K for 1 boat can untill 5-8people inside. At normal hours you must pay 30K/person and you have to share with others coz they have too wait untill boat is full.

But overall I will come back here

This is one of my favourite traveling spot. It’s so beautiful and awesome here. There’re many options spot to be visited. We can have lunch in a breathtaking ship shaped restaurant (the most popular one), glamping, feed the rabbits, harvest the strawberry, and many more.

Good access, quite well maintained tourist attraction. A must visit to relax.

To all visitor: please preserved this place from pollution and over lighting. It is the last place in West Java to see Milky Way Galaxy by naked eye

Easily accessible through the picturesque tea plantation about a kilometer from the main highway. In the misty early morning, it captivates visitors with its serene beauty emblematic of the pastoral life in this part of West Java.
