Beautiful view and perfect place for a relaxing hike or swim. You can climb multiple hills and see the sunset above Kuta.
Parking fee: 10k for scooter

Very nice and easy trail to do, not to much people. The beaches was beautiful. They asked us to pay entrees 10k each. If you go, be sure to have a driver waiting for you or rent scooter because no taxi there and you have to walk more than 1hour to reach the nearest civilization. Even the locals at the entrance offer you 100k to be driving to Kuta in scooter (10min drive).

on the 1st day i arrive at Kuta, I went here and the sunset was amazingly astounding. tomorrow i went here again bcs the peace is very calm here! Very recommended

If you arriving at LOP in the morning or afternoon, suggest to visit this place first. It is south to the airport while the town and other places of interest are on the northern/western part of Lombok

Crazy cool views

went here several times to see sunrise and still amazing! after they make a road and we end up in half of the hill is brilliant! i hope it also dont bother and destroy the original shape of the hill and people live near it. i hope the cows are also happy!

If you are in Lombok i can only recommend going there.

The hills themselfes reminded me of rohan in the lord of the rings.

The place have an amazing view from the above to the beach and surrounding hills. But yes, they have a trash problem. For those who went there, please bring your own trash down and keep the hill clean.

Also, they have some locals who sells the products, such as: the kain tenun, tenun wallet, local gelang, sarong, etc. You can help their economics by buying their products. You can ask them to lower a little bit their prices (still in the reasonable price combined with their effort to bring it up to the hills). The price is cheaper than in the souvenir center.

The parking ticket for motorbike is the same price as in the Tanjung Aan Beach, Rp 10K.

Spectacular view, too bad that the day was coudly so I was not able to see sunset. But definitely be back!

One of Lomboks most scenic spot. Great spot to walk around the hills with jaw dropping views.

Initially wanted to go to Batu Payung Beach but I heard from locals that it didn’t exist anymore. So, I went to Merese Hill instead to enjoy sunset. It was a short escape to the Hill and I enjoyed it very much.

Beautiful place that you should visit when you are in Lombok. Especially for sunset. It was magical. One of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. It’s gonna be crowdy on peak season and even more on weekends. Recommend to go a bit before sunset time, so you can take your time to check for a good spot.Sadly there was quiet a lot garbage. If you are having a picnic on the hill, please take your rubbish.

View are stunning but we have to pay 10k to enter which I think that’s illegal. Thrash are everywhere.

One of the best views in Kuta Lombok with or without a sunset (other spot is at Ashtari Yoga).

If you want to catch the sunset I suggest getting there at least half an hour early for two reasons: 1) the sun sets behind hills so if you're late you'll probably miss it, and 2) it can get crowded and if you want a good spot you'll have to claim it (there were around 150 people during the sunset on a weekday; mix of locals and tourists).

The atmosphere is a bit festive (kind of like a small country fair) with vendors selling BBQ corn, snacks and beer.

There is a new road that will take you all the way up to the top via car or scooter--no hiking required. Entrance fee collected by locals was 10k rupiah (felt a bit scammy but not any different than parking access at the local beaches).

My favorite place to visit in Lombok, challenging hike with 360 degree views that make it absolutely worth it. We visited during the month of Ramadan, so could be the reason why it was not crowded. I love seeing the cows and buffaloes grazing, can't wait to visit again.

This is Heaven on earth, but have temperature like hell!. my hand become black hahaha... is so hot here. so i recomended come here while sunrise or sunset.

A local recommended to visit Bukit Merese. It is such a good spot to watch the ocean. Really relaxing and such a calming atmosphere. A farmer was chilling with his cows on top of the hill. Check the pics/vids for inspiration. We came by scooter and had to pay 10k for parking. There is one little local shop selling drinks/snacks for reasonable prices. Don't miss this place if you are around Kuta.

What a lovely sunset point. The hike is almost a short walk and there is plenty of places to view the sunset from, and also accommodate the crowd (we went on a Sunday so the place was quite packed - but this isn’t really a problem because of the area). Definitely recommend the drive from any part of Lombok, which is a beautiful comfortable drive full of tree canopies and views of adjacent rice fields.
