Amber Lombok Beach Resort by Cross Collection

I had an amazing 2 night getaway at Amber Resort in Lombok, and it was everything I could’ve hoped for! Tucked away in a quiet part of the island, the resort is a total gem with stunning beach setting and nature all around. The room was super cozy and clean, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. And the food? Absolutely delicious - try the Tom Yum soup!

This is a fantastic resort set in an isolated locale. The staff are extremely friendly and responsive, the rooms cosy and clean. Breakfast is a semi buffet style where you order one mains and then help yourself to pastries and snacks. The beach is beautiful and quiet, though may not be the best for swimming with its strong waves when we were there. I would say its seclusion may be a negative for some - there's almost nothing else nearby within walking distance. You'll need your own transport.

What a stunning place! Stayed 3 nights and don’t have even one tinniest complain. Amazing setting on a wild beach, surrounded by hills, cozy pool area with sea views, tasteful design everywhere, great management and staff, high quality restaurant on site. I couldn’t ask for more! We will definitely be back.

This place is like heaven! I have no words to explain how beautiful and peaceful it is. The best staff i have ever seen, the service is 20/10… food is like michelin star… It has been the best hotel we ever stay quality/price. We didn’t even leave the hotel in our 4 days of stay. Huge shout out to the staff, brilliant!

We had a fabulous stay! The villa was amazing and comfortable, with a direct access to the beautiful beach. The staff was super friendly. The food was fresh and tasty and I particularly appreciated their ability to provide gluten-free options.

I have the best time here with my baby. We came to escape the city life and it offers exactly that. Best room, best view, best service. Everyone is so friendly, feels like home. Our bag was left out and they deliver it to the airport. It exceeds my expectation. I will go back without a doubt!

It's a nice and relaxing place with a great restaurant and good opportunities for trying surfing. We stayed 3 nights with one day of surf training and had a good time. While we don't have kids, the place is great for children as the beach is fairly shallow far out.

We stayed here 7 days last September and we really enjoyed everything about this place. We will definitely come back again on our next visit.
The rooms are clean (but beware, some rooms have a funky smell), the staff is nice - the food still needs some work - but we can see the effort.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here and the sunsets from the beach/ beachfront restaurant/ pool are gorgeous.

Today is my last day in Lombok, my stay at the Amber resort was wonderful. beautiful hotel and surroundings. I enjoyed the location, beach, food, etc., but my appreciation and gratitude especially goes to the employees of the Amber hotel/resort. so sweet and caring. They provided a wonderful and relaxing stay.

The hotel is next to a very beautiful beach. The rooms are nice and clean, the service is great.

The only annoying thing is stray dogs wandering around the beach.

In general we enjoyed our time here and also had a lot of good food!

PS. I recommend to rent a scooter and go around a bit to enjoy beautiful Lombok nature 🐵🍃🌴

Just recently went for a holiday at Amber Hotel, the famous and fantastic hotel with its exclusive view of the ocean located in Southern Lombok. It was for two days and one night stay. At first glance, the decorations of the room look elegant and beautiful. Enjoyed watching the sunsets during my stay there. Other than that, the food was scrumptious! There’s a lot of western or even traditional food
there. Their nasi goreng is superb. All the tourist there looks satisfied with their stay in that hotel. Despite that, I would 100% recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

We spent 5 nights here during our trip to Lombok and it was AMAZING! To be honest I had done some research and read some not so nice reviews about food etc...do not believe them. They are old and out dated.

Everything was 5 star here. The service, the friendly staff, the food, spa....incredible!

The location is far away from the main hub of Kuta but in our opinion it's the best part of Lombok if you're happy to have peace, quiet and beautiful sunsets.

If you want to go out and explore just rent a scooter from the staff at front desk whenever you like.

I loved Amber Lombok so much so I extended my stay! It's a real gem with a peaceful beachfront setting and perfectly manicured gardens throughout. The staff were amazing - always smiling and super helpful. The beachfront bar is incredible, with a great variety of delicious food and drink. An incredible spot morning, noon, afternoon and especially evening. I loved the relaxed vibe of the place. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle deep in rural Lombok, perfect for a quiet escape. The room was literally immaculate – every amenity was in reach and spotlessly clean. I loved the attention to detail in the interior design and architecture – they nail every aspect. It's definitely a spot worth visiting if you're after a laid-back beach holiday.

Perfect place if you're here for beach holidays. They have everything you need during your stay. Good food and cocktails. Super friendly staff. Nice pool, kids enjoyed it very much

Certainly one of the best resorts in South Lombok. The vibes walking through the resort are amazing with all the banana trees. The tropical interior of the room is well thought through and the restaurant area at the beach with the pool is stunning. You can even go snorkeling in the ocean in front of the resort. Saw a small reef shark there and plenty of turtles.

Stayed here 2 nights. Rooms very clean, linen and towels very clean and smelled nice which is sometimes rare to find in Indo hotels.
Staff communication was very good and very helpful.
Amber is a bit isolated from a lot of things so it’s good to have your own transport.

For us it was perfect because I came to surf and Serangan Beach is just down the road.
My wife could relax at Amber while I surfed.
Amber is a great place to just relax and enjoy the serene beach. It’s got everything you need so that’s nice but if you wish to explore the food offerings in south Lombok you’ll need transport. There are motorbike rentals just out front. Only downside is location but for those coming to have an all inclusive stay at one place this is perfect for you.

Absolute beach lover’s dream & honeymooner’s holiday escape! My girlfriend and I stayed for two nights and were both touched by Amber’s hospitality & delicious meals! Thank you so much for such a perfect stay! Highly recommend!!

Had two wonderful nights with my kids here. Stayed in the 2 bedrooms villa, my son enjoyed the private pool and didnt even bother to go to the main pool.

Almost everything was spot on, water pressure in the bathroom was on the low side, and local food choices were slightly limited, we prefer to go for local food when we travel. You would need your own transport if you want to venture out to do some food hunting, its quite a distance.

Perfect place for the amazing serene quietness, lovely beach view, would love to come for a second vist in the future.

Wat a great hotel. Super friendly staff and helpful. We’ve been there for a week and it was a real great experience, we’ve been to many hotels all over the world and this is by far the best hotel. The manager Erik gave us some nice tips and he was sincere helpful. The waiter Adi was funny and polite, learned us some basics grammar, hence te fact we’ve both got indonesian parents and love the learn the language. We’ve also did some trips with the driver Marcow from Amber, he was so friendly with a lot of humor! The food was also very good, lots of choices and variety, not only Indonesian. We definitely come back and bring our Indonesian family and friends. Thank you Amber, until next time.
