The menu is quite pricey but they have some affordable ones too. Like the noodle I ordered. It's really good. Though it might look like a small portion, it will make you feel full. Tastes good too. Be sure to try it yourself!

Open up quite till late night and available to cater for large groups of diners or the big events in the upstairs.
The silken tofu hotplate (Angsio Tahu Jepang) is very tasty and surprisingly good.
Very well maintained and clean environment with helpful staff members.

Famous Chinese Restaurant in Surabaya, they have another branch in Tunjungan Plaza. The food always taste good and so delicious. Suit for family dinner because they have small portion until large portion and the price is depend on the size we order

Smaller portion than others chinese restaurant but authentic taste. They serve ramen also because the company own multiple brand. I always come here for their Noodle. I think their noodle is best so far. The cleanliness and the ambience of the store can be improve more.

Fajar Chinese Restaurant is quite a well-known Chinese restaurant in Surabaya. They are famous for their noodles (yammie) as well as their Hakka-style foods (like the vegetables tossed with red rice wine).

Some of the food I’ve tried include:
1. I Fu Mi - I Fu Mi consists of their yellow noodles topped with the gravy. For the vegetarian option (upon request), the gravy has mushroom and vegetable shreds.

2. Kakap Tahu Tausi - The snapper (kakap) is thinly battered and is deep fried. The black bean sauce is poured on top of it. What I enjoyed most is that the black bean is mashed, instead of serving it as ‘whole beans’. Do remember to request for no chilli if you don’t like it to be spicy.

3. Xiang Mak Belut - Xiang mak vegetable is stir-fried with garlic and red rice wine — giving it a slightly sweet flavor. It is topped with deep fried bits of eel.

4. Sapo Kaki Babi - The pork trotter claypot is not the typical ‘dark sauce’ braised pork trotter. It is cooked in a ‘red sauce’ that is sweet and savory. The pork trotter itself is very tender and collagen-y.

5. Hipio Babi Seafood - Very thick fish maw is stir-fried with pork slices, pork stomach, and seafood. The dish is well seasoned.

6. Fried Pork Ribs Yammie - Their yellow noodles are tossed with their special sauce concoction and topped with pork ribs. The fried pork ribs are well seasoned and are tender.

Definitely one if the best chinese restaurant in Surabaya. It has a long history of being the top rated chinese food. No doubt about their taste, flexible price point from 15k - 200k that is suitable for all budget.

The place is clean and cutlery been sealed, also they give a glass of hot water for reclean the cutlery. The food is good with reasonable price. Recommended.

This restaurant provides a great and high quality chinese dish like noodles and its variation, chicken, pork and so on. You may choose what you want if you are interested in chinese dish. As a summary, based on my opinion, I recommend the noodles menu with chasio (sweet pork). Visit this place now 😊

Today I eat with a new menu list. The price has a slight increase. It still feels good and delicious.

One of old restaurant. Mostly food in here are good taste.(the chinese food) Now they add Japanase food too such ramen,curry and few more.Hope they can survive along this pandemic covid
