I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Lost Cafe in Bali, and I can't stop raving about the incredible experience! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home.

The food at The Lost Cafe is nothing short of marvelous. My wife opted for the Soto Ayam, a dish that surpassed all expectations. The generous portion, coupled with the rich and flavorful gravy, made it a standout. Unlike anything we've had in Singapore, it came with both noodles and rice on the side – a delightful surprise.

On the chef's recommendation, I tried the Mango Tuna Salad Sandwich, and it was a crispy, filling delight. The flavors were exquisite, and I couldn't help but marvel at the combination of ingredients. We're self-proclaimed soto lovers, and the Soto Ayam at The Lost Cafe is on a whole new level.

The real star, though, was the magical sambal that accompanied the Soto. The kick it delivered was irresistible, and we found ourselves ordering three extra bottles to take back home to Singapore. Trust me, one serving is never enough!

The Lost Cafe is not just a dining spot; it's a unique experience. Located an hour's drive from Ubud in the Monkey Forest area, the journey is well worth it. The second level offers a bird's eye view of the picturesque surroundings, and we even had the pleasure of sharing the space with a friendly family of chickens.

Small cafe run by the owner and few local ladies helping in the kitchen.
All breakfast we had was amazing! Most of the food they make themselves, the strawberry jam.. the waffle, bread n more! Really tasty n the coffee eventhou it’s with a small machine, believe me the taste wouldn’t disappoint you! I had iced americano!
Yes it has lots of flies when we were there, a bit annoying tbh, but the hospitality, the coffee n the food they’re just too great n worth it. My friends n I were so glad that we stopped there for breakfast.

For this Warung Kesasar or The Lost Cafe. Although the place is small not too big and the food menu is not many variants ... but the food here is Falvorful, fresh and directly made by the owner's own hands, Bread for sandwiches is also homemade and jumbo portions. Great for sharing ha ha
I ordered a burrito and iced coffee late ... very surprised when ordered Burrito portion was big and appetizing combination of Mexican and Indian sauces. On next weekend, I ordered the tuna sandwich, which was delicious and quite filling 😮‍💨🤤😍😋😋
The owner is super friendly and always smilling, the service is very good even though the serving is long... understandable because the owner cooks herself and the staff is still new (when I visited there). Unfortunately, there is no wooden cover for the toilet or restroom, only use a curtain, so it's better to ask a friend to look after you ha ha.
You can stop at this place for lunch and just drink coffee when you're tired of long drive. I know it can be noisy from the sound of vehicles due to the location on the main road and If it's crowded and full, you have to wait patiently but no problem. You won't regret being satisfied by foods.

You must be addicted to come at TLC again, I guarantee it!!! 😉 💯💯💯

Had a lovely experience eating here and meeting Tante! Most things were handmade and cooked by Tante, it was so delicious I feel like my bf and I kept talking about it long after we came. We had ratatouille pasta and burrito, they were SO GOOD! Do come over if you plan on passing by 👍🏻

Cute cafe not far from Danau beratan. Incredible service and extremely hospitalible owners. The omelette was delicious and the coffee was handmade with passion and love. The homemade strawberry jam was delectable. Lovely cafe ran by lovely people. Would love to visit again one day.

This was actually a highlight of the weekend ✨ Tiny little place on the side of the road but the food and coffee is big on quality and flavor! The owners are beautiful people 😍

My favorite place in the whole island. Place where you can feel like in home. The lady owner is so funny and welcoming and the food she is serving, is freshly made from her own garden, fruits and veggies. Even whipped cream for waffles or jam is made by her. We visited place for breakfast, and everything was freshly prepared and tasted so good! Bread and cinnamon rolls were extremely tasty.
Apart from the cozy vibe you can admire beautiful hills and taste very good coffee. I will come back there for sure ❤

A very cozy small cafe to dine-in with your loved ones. The ambience is so perfect. Foods taste very good, generous portion, affordable price and made with love by the owner. The owner/chef (here is the photo of her) is very friendly make us very welcomed and feels like home. Definitely will come again!!!!

If you came from Bedugul/Singaraja, pay attention and drive slowly after the Big Strawberry statue. The cafe is on the left immediately after the shape turn.

An excellent establishment on the way to Bedugul, I advise you to definitely stop and have breakfast here. Very tasty food, wonderful coffee and stunning views of the Agung and Batur volcanoes. We had tuna toast and an eggplant roll, everything was prepared simply amazing. The portions are really very large, each dish was accompanied by potato pancakes and they were as tasty as the ones I tried in Belarus!
But the best thing about this cafe is its owners. Very positive and hospitable people with whom it was a pleasure to communicate. They fed us and gave us wonderful coffee, and at the end they even offered us free water for the trip! It was very touching!

P.S. The coffee machine is very good and is in perfect condition, even if you are not hungry, stop and drink coffee, enjoy the views and conversation with the owners - you will not regret it.

The owner is very friendly, the food "Tuna Mango Sandwich" is excellent. The portion is big.
Even with a limited space, it feels hommy makes you want to spend more time and enjoying another dish and coffee. Definitely will come back for another food experience.

We had very good coffee here from a lovely couple who own this place, The coffee is awesome and the food is also very nice.

Believe it or not, one of the best food in Bali. All I have tried was amazing. It’s a home cooking type place, with good atmosphere and awesome chef and stuff. The only one minus is when you want it, but the place is closed 🤭

The place that MUST to visit when you are in Bedugul or the way to lovina. They have the best strawberry pancake 👍 and the owner ibu Kadek is very friendly and she makes delicious food.

The cafe is busy everyday, better to make a call before you come.

Had a lovely lunch - the carbonara was so tasty! The burrito was tasty too - but maybe nicer with a small salad instead of hash brown/chips? Mine also didn't have rice in it but I didn't mind too much.

Amazing service, lovely women. Greatview - road is very noisy so don't come if that bothers you. Deserts sounded great. We would come back!

Great experience. The food was outstanding and the price was right. The local chef must have been trained by an amazing western top chef. You could taste the homemade quality in every bite. Try the cinnamon rolls and strawberry crepes for dessert with a caramel iced latte.

Amazing place just past Bedugul on the way from Singaraga to Denpassar. If you are travelling past you have to stop..
It's well worth it.

Whoever read this, just makes sure you visited the lost cafe on your way to bedugul.
Bu kadek as the owner and the chef are really friendly. She didnt write down the menu, just asked her what she got on her kitchen that day, and she'll cook it from the scratch (From ayam goreng, soto, coffee, or just omelette).
Top dessert we got was cinnamon roll, somekind like cinnamon roll but from orange, and strawberry crepes.
The other days we just request to have indomie and it was the mosf fancy we've ever eaten 😂

The food was amazing! We ordered the cinnamon bun, the Tuna-mango sandwich, and the strawberry crepe. All delicious! The coffee was also very good. You can definitely taste that everything is fresh and homemade.
We met both owners of the place and they gave us some great recommendations for the area.
We would definitely recommend this place!
