Shangri-La Jakarta

Luxurious hotel with impeccable facilities. Big lobby, spacious room, delicious n various food. But most of all, the pool and kids water park. Reminds me of hotel in Bali. Overall its pleasant stay, very recommended!! 👍

My only input for improvement is the staff at the restaurant, i guess they're could be nicer and more responsive to the guest. Shangri la is a famous 5 star hotel in Jakarta since long a go.

An oasis in deed! I love coming back to this amazing hotel with fantastic attentive staff. The breakfast buffet is easily one of the best i've ever seen... then I saw the dinner buffet!!!!
Rooms are large with big bathroom including tub.
Pool is huge with large kids area and lifeguards on duty! Location is great, you feel like you are secluded but shops within walking or short cab rides!

Beautiful hotel with well appointed facilities. Excellent 5 star rooms and amenities.
I did not try the restaurants but my colleague did and said it was a big spread with a good choice of pure vegetarian and Indian dishes too.
The service staff are amiable. They do a round in the late evenings and ask if you need anything. Another point - the first day I mentioned that I need a lot of drinking water and the next day they had themselves placed extra water bottles on my room - a small gesture but thoughtful.

The pool, the twin coconut trees with a swing in between, the gym - all make for good amenities.

Over all excellent facility to stay in.

My children always enjoyed their time here. The guest relation staff took time to surprise my son with a birthday cake without any special request from me (we appreciate that a lot! Thank you for the sweet gesture). We would suggest an indoor kids club in the future to make it even more perfect.

Stayed at the property for 3 nights during a recent work trip. Amenities were excellent and the hotel is well maintained. Most importantly, the staff are as friendly, helpful and professional as I have seen throughout my travels and this alone makes it stand above the competition. Enjoyed my stay, wished I had time to use more of the facilities but look forward to coming back.

A very big hotel, you can expect all from a five star, world class hotel. It's just their toilet is American standard without bidet :(
Disclaimer: I only get into their ballroom's & conference's toilet. Maybe inside bedroom they will provide bidet.

Exceptional hotel for business and pleasure. Staff were incredibly warm and friendly. They went to any lengths to ensure our stay perfect.

Great taste here at Satoo Restaurant, so many option and fresh. Good table management so guests would have seat and enough food. Great!

Our room on 22nd floor was great. The view is so-so. The facilities and amenities were good.

Location is a meh to me, except the mosque behind, I feel like there isn’t any other place to walk to.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast at Satoo was nice, it closes at 10:30 so night owls like us may have to run a bit.

We stayed for 7 days and on the last 2 days, the wifi signal in our room was bad, had to use 4G instead.

Last time I visited Shangri-La was more than 5 years ago. I'm impressed with how they maintained the cleanliness and the quality of the hotel. It's just as nice as before, with spacious room and spotless white towels and bedsheets. Breakfast in Satoo is still as festive as before and they even added new water playground for the kids. Kudos Shangri-La for keeping the standard high!

I recently had a wonderful staycation at the Shangri-La hotel with my family. We opted for a suite room that included access to the Horizon Club, and it turned out to be a great choice. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and luxurious experience.

The highlight of our stay was definitely the aquapark, which our kids absolutely loved. They spent countless hours by the pool, enjoying the various water activities and slides. The aquapark was well-maintained and provided a fun and safe environment for our children to play in.

The hotel staff were exceptional, displaying great hospitality and always ready to assist us with any requests or inquiries. Their attentiveness and helpfulness added to the overall positive experience.

In terms of dining, we had a buffet breakfast and tried the in-room dining service. The food was of good quality and satisfied our taste buds. However, when we opted for dinner, we decided to go for the a la carte menu. While the gado gado sauce was decent, we found the Sate Padang to be disappointing. It seemed that the recipe for this dish could use some improvement. On the other hand, the Nasi Hainan was absolutely delicious, leaving us craving for more.

Additionally, my husband and I had the opportunity to enjoy evening cocktails at the lounge. The food served there was also excellent, further enhancing our dining experience.

Overall, our stay at the Shangri-La hotel was delightful. The spacious and clean room, the enjoyable aquapark, the helpful staff, and the satisfying dining options all contributed to a memorable and enjoyable staycation. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others seeking a luxurious and family-friendly experience.

Recently stayed with Shangrila-La Jakarta, I could say this one is the best hotel in Jakarta, most courteous staff happy to help always, food is amazing, they care for their guest. Will definately choose this hotel again. I want to congratulate the hotel manager and management for the standards.

I didn't stay overnight for this visit.... But attending "sangjit" at JIA ...

Room booked at 09.30, 90 minutes earlier than official opening hour of resto.... Yet all crew served us attentively and full of smile.

Food is great.... typical standard 5 star hotel resto. For the spice lovers who eat a lot at local resto or even street vendor, you may find it slightly too plain.

One of the best hotel I had stayed. Spacious room with luxury amenities. Excellent service and awesome ambience. Dinner spread at Satoo restaurants was amazing especially the Indian section and great value for money. Awesome dining experience from Chef Ashok and all the service team. Front Office Team, DM Fitri, Murni, Horizon Club Naufal, Denise and everyone else in the team are really great and everyone else are just so friendly and accommodative. It is strategically located in the heart of Jakarta. You can go anywhere from here.
The cuisine at the hotel's restaurant offers a variety of international menus to tantalise our taste buds.
More to add, the pool is big. Great news for swimming lovers.

A 5-star hotel. Located at the center of business area of Jakarta. So quite inside even its surrounded by busy traffic. It has so many facilities you can enjoy there.
