Gending Sari House

much more than a hotel, it is a place where you feel at home, I am very happy to have been able to meet such kind, welcoming, warm people and with such a big heart. I was able to share a lot of time with the members of the team and it is with a heavy heart that I leave it, it is obviously a place that I strongly recommend, a great setting in the middle of the rice fields. I would like to thank all the team for all the moments, all the discussions and all the laughter. THANKS

This is the best Home Stay ice ever stayed at the room is very comfortable and clean. It has a very beautiful view. It has a sharing kitchen and you can ask for laundry services there. It is very convenient. I would definitely go back to this Home Stay someday in the future.

Gending is a really good place !
It is in the middle of ricefields, and they get a rooftop 😊.

Gede, the owner, and Wayan, his workers, are really good guys !
You can ask them if you need to rent a scooter or if you need something.

Gede got a special Arak if you dare to taste 😉.

It is better to rent a scooter cause the street over there is not really "fun" to walk, big holes in the sidewalk... and you don't get a sidewalk all the time 😅.

10 minutes scooter from the ubud downtown, so it is really quiet 🙂.
Also, there are little local restaurants where you can eat well for a cheap price.

They just opened earlier this 2023. For a cheap room, it is perfect. The morning view is amazing, and they even have a rooftop, in case you wanna enjoy sunset facing paddy fields.
They provide bare minimum facilities, but at least there are private toilet & shower, kitchen with stove, fridge & refill water. They also have laundry service for 15k/kg. Wifi also works fine.

The staff is very helpful and nice.
The location is 8 min away from city center using a scooter.
Really quiet, with amazing view over the rice field.
The room is big, the bed is really comfortable and the bathroom is clean.

I initially booked for 1 week but because i work remotely and like to have hot water and really good wifi for visio (wifi works but a little bit unstable) i asked to change my date for only 1 night.
The host validated my request because he is really nice and understanding.

I definitely recommand this place.

very beautiful place where the guesthouse is located. Unfortunately, I did not manage to live there, but next time I will return when the need arises. The area is very nice and clean. The owner is a wonderful person who will help solve your problem if it arises. the guesthouse is located in a secluded area of ​​Ubud with a beautiful view of the rice fields 😍

Literally a perfect stay for me. The location is in a hidden side street, surrounded by rice fields and palms. The host is super caring, helps to solve every problem asap! If you stay there for a few days, you get a feeling of having a second family haha, all members of the stuff are so friendly. In addition, the homestay has a rooftop. Watch the sunrise with the view on the vulcano and enjoy your first minutes of the day. Thank you Gede :)

Such a wonderful and safe place to stay.specially the owner is so friendly and helpful. The price is also very cheap.and the morning view from the room is amazing.

I asked for breakfast and it was totally worth it 👌🏽
There’s a small problem which i guess they can’t fix it, the road to hostel like about 100 meters with rocks and holes but it’s okay.

Good place for stay

Un hostel realmente acogedor con un maravilloso jardín, un precio excelente y una ubicación privilegiada: muy cerca de Ubud y con una diversidad de tiendas cerca pero situado entre el verde y la tranquilidad de bonitos campos de arroz. Por no mencionar las vistas desde la azotea, con mesitas para ver el amanecer y el atardecer... Los dos chicos que lo llevan son encantadores y te harán sentir como en casa, permitiéndote usar la cocina y compartir comidas con otros viajeros. Además tienen servicio de lavandería para más comodidad.

A pesar de no tener aire acondicionado en las habitaciones, no me lo pensé dos veces entre ésta y otras opciones que sí tenían y no me arrepiento: vine para 2 noches y finalmente me voy a quedar 4 y de aquí ya para el aeropuerto. Igualmente con el ventilador no paso calor, pero estoy acostumbrada al calor de Madrid las noches de verano que son mucho más duras en mi opinión...

Harga permalamnya terjangkau murah dan menginap disini mendapat view pemandangan sawah yang hijau dan sejuk sedap di pandang pokoknya dah.mau tinggal sendirian juga ok sama pasangan lebih ok lagi.oh iya disediakan dapur untuk dipakai secara umum bersama dengan tamu lainnya pokoknya betah bgt tinggal disini.pokoknya tingkatin trus kualitas nya ya Gending Sari House

La struttura è splendida, con una fantastica vista sulle risaie. Ha un giardino, una grande cucina comune (dove si può ricevere un'abbondante e conveniente colazione con frutta+ pancakes o omelette) e un terrazzo con tavolini da dove poter ammirare il tramonto.
Le stanze sono spaziose e molto pulite: nonostante si trovi immersa nella natura, la Gending Sari House è pulitissima, tenuta in meticolosa cura dallo staff. Offrono anche un servizio di lavanderia.
I proprietari sono simpaticissimi e sempre disponibili a dare consigli e felici di scambiare due chiacchiere!
È un po' dislocata dal centro di Ubud, ma ne vale la pena! Il centro si raggiunge molto facilmente con qualsiasi mezzo, come anche le principali attrazioni della zona (come le risaie Jatiluwih e i templi di Tanah Lot e Tirta Empul). Noi eravamo in due e abbiamo noleggiato uno scooter per tre giorni, è un mezzo molto conveniente e comodo per muoversi in Indonesia e si può parcheggiare all'interno della struttura.
Se dovessi ritornare a Ubud riprenoterei certamente qui! rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo!

Selalu menjadi tempat yang menenangkan dan nyaman. Cocok untuk menjadi rujukan dalam menginap.

Io e il mio ragazzo Luca ci siamo tornati due volte nel giro di dieci giorni. Il rapporto qualità prezzo e’ del tutto ragionevole se non poco per i servizi che offrono, confronto ad altre guest house più care in cui siamo state, le camere hanno tutto di quello di cui hai bisogno, e cosa più importante, sono pulite!!. Offrono servizio di colazione (abbondante di frutta e altro), pranzo e cena a richiesta. Tutto ad un prezzo economico. Cucinano bene e offrono varietà di colazione. Puoi chiedere qualsiasi cosa di cui hai bisogno e te la danno. Offrono inoltre lavanderia, noleggio scooter, e hanno molti contatti che organizzano escursioni in caso ne avessi bisogno. Noi abbiamo chiesto a loro per quanto riguarda scalare il vulcano Batur.
Che dire, ce ne siamo innamorati anche per la meravigliosa terrazza sulle risaie. La posizione è perfetta per andare al centro.
Ci torneremo sicuramente passando da Ubud, è come sentirsi a casa.
