My second favorite padang place, the gulai is good, ayam pop is the best food here i think, ayam pop is a must have item, ayam bakar is just okay, my friend said that the teh talua here is the best in j town!! Must visit resto in benhill, but i remind you guys to bot go at 12 o'clock weekdays since most of the worker ate foods here and it was jammed pack full!!

An old legendary restaurant in the heart of Benhil. Surya has been around for a very long time. Their specialty is their dendeng batokok, and dendeng lambok.
It's my go to meal every time I go here.

Yet despite its modest appearance, it has a non-smoking room and an air-conditioned seating area.

When eaten with dendeng, sambal ijo is quite delectable. Unfortunately, they didn't have dendeng batokok with sambal merah when I came here for dinner the previous weekend. Nevertheless, everything was still delicious, especially the rendang. They offered hot rice with it, and it was so tasty.

You can either sit at the table and the waiter will bring up all the options, or you can come to the counter and choose what you want.

Since it is a restaurant on the side of the road, the main drawback is that parking can be problematic if it is too busy.

Another Padang Resto we had try. RM padang Surya. The menu so variatif, the customer always full and the taste very Minang, rich of flavour. Im trying Ayam Pop, Dendeng Balado Sambal Hijau and some crackers called Jange ( Skin cow cracker with curry sauce ), all of it so mind blowing..

For someone who's really hungry and needs to eat quickly, and is passing by Benhil, you must come here. The service is under 1/2 minute. Rasanya juga gak ada yang gagal, pas👌

One of the best RENDANG ever tried!! Really reccomended for padang restarurant!! Oh also tried their gulay chicken, Chicken Pop, Paru crispy, green chili and kerupuk rambak!!

Besides their main menu of Padang course, that already unquestionably delicious, they also have fried rice and other menu. And in my opinion it's one of the best fried rice in Jakarta

My fav food in here is Soto Padang, it's so yummy.. Actually it's not a santan Soto typically like Soto Betawi, but the have a crunchy thing that they put on it. Those crunchy thing makes perfect

When we were there, the place was very crowded... thats why for sure the food was very good and tasty.. recommend for you guys to try the padang food. For 2 pax around IDR 100k.

old school Padang Food....taste nvr fail since a long a go....but becarefull with the Sate Padang, taste different not like usual taste.

Been here to this place couple times. One of the best padang restaurant ive ever had.

I like how they serve boiled vegetables in addition to the usual sayur daun singkong etc.

Proper Padang, more savory than sweet. You need to try this for authentic Padang.

You dont want to miss Rendang in this restaurant. You really cant miss that.
