Fine Japanese restaurant with tasty selection of popular dishes. It was a sumptuous lunch today as we ordered 5 main dishes and there were four of us.

Truly enjoyed the beef teriyaki as it was a mixture of aromatic beef and fresh green peppers, bean sprouts and onion grilled with the sweet tasting teriyaki sauce.

The chicken teriyaki was fantastic, my son loved it. Crispy skin soaked with teriyaki sauce with tender meat on the inside, almost tempted him ordered another one.

Another dish that topped my list was the salmon grill, with butter ponzu sauce, recommended for those who favor salty with a touch of sourness, while the salmon teriyaki is the sweet tasting version.

Also ordered chicken katsu curry, which was also good, crunchy and dry chicken, combined with the thick curry sauce will keep you wanting for more.

Heck, even the miso soup and salad on the side are above average. The meal was also made enjoyable with comfortable setting of warm cored lighting and authentic Japanese ambience

Undoubtedly one of the favorite Japanese teppanyaki restaurant. Hidden in Grand Hyatt Jakarta, it will of course have the quality attached with the hyatt brand. Always a favorite with me and my family. If you like Spicy taste, don’t forget to ask for sambal lukman.

Didn't take a lot of pic this time, but the food is still as good as it can be. Ordered the seafood teppanyaki set, scallops, black cod, onion, asparagus, squid, and lobster! Fried rice and veggie were also delicious. It was quite surprising that the restaurant was really empty, asked the waiter and it was Jakarta birthday! Happy birthday to Jakarta!

Went there on weekend and the resto full.. but we still can get space.. horay…

We try the menu package unagi and the other one i forgot what’s the name. Also try sukiyaki…

Chicken curry OK for me.

First lunch here and its definitely match the good things i have heard about this place. Ordered the tempura don (prawn, scallop, fish, assorted vegetable) and the sushi set lunch(good nigiri and the inari sushi also standout)

Been coming here for ages & still my fave place to eat teppanyaki. It is one of the restaurant in Grand Hyatt Jakarta. The place itself hasn’t changed much for the past 2 decades & the food remains the same. Teppanyaki, ala carte japanese dish, & sushi bar. But I always go with teppanyaki. The meat is always cooked to perfection by skillful chefs, as well as the seafood & vegs. Finished it off with shiratama senzai & it became even more perfect.
Be sure to make reservations!

A friend invited me to visit this restaurant.
The atmosphere and service were both good - there were a lot of tables, but it was good for conversation.
The food was delicious.

Food is pretty good but the prices are and portions are small.

Premium fine dining restaurant to try for but you have no doubt with the quality of the food especially with the meat and the chef as well. I have good food here and the taste also worthy.

The staff was friendly to us while also serving us hot and delicious food such as tendon which is really good. Although there was slight delays , its still a good
experience.

Premium price, but food quaility was superb indeed!! Obviously don't come here when you're starving or you'll leave deep hole in your pocket! :) :) service needs to be improved I think or was it because the rest was full during weekend night?

Fine japanese teppanyaki with great food quality and service! Love the teppanyaki here… whenever i feel like to have a teppan this is the place where i’d go!

Been here multiple times! The service and atmosphere was spot on! The teppanyaki is one of the best in Jakarta! Im a huge foodie but I’ll say their shabu-shabu is average, their tempura as well is mid. But when you come here, the teppanyaki is amazing! Quite pricey but worth it! I recommend the teppanyaki sets 👍🏼👍🏼

I have been coming to Sumire for nearly 20 years, through good and bad, and I will continue to do so. They are consistent, and I know that they will meet my expectations every time. Thank you, Sumire, it is always nice to come home to you.

The food was tasty and the service was great (shoutout to Pak Damar for giving us awesome services)

One of the best japanese dining experince i’ve ever had. Sashimi was very good. Quite pricey though

Wonderful experience and food. Fresh sashimi to start with and fresh seafood served on the teppanyaki table. Fried rice was not too salty too. My wife and daughter enjoyed their meals as well. And thanks for the birthday surprise. Will come back again in the future. Thank you Sumire
