Pelabuhan Poto Tano

Poto Tano is a port located in the island of Sumbawa. Here, ferries will take us across to Lombok island.

Travel costs vary depending on the mode of transportation used. If you walk (only people crossing), you have to pay a ticket of Rp.17,000 per person. If you use a motorbike, around Rp.55,000 per motorbike. If using a passenger car, the costs to be spent are around Rp 480,000 per car (passenger ticket is included in the price of the vehicle crossing ticket price)

Poto Tano port is located in West Sumbawa as the first gate to visit Sumbawa island by land. If you are coming from Lombok, you can go to Kayangan Port in East Lombok then use ferry around 2 hours to reach Poto Tano port.
This port has an amazing landscape and clear sea water that may not find out in another Port.
Besides that, the port located near the village that is surrounded by hills covered with green grasslands in the rainy season. The closer to the harbor, the smaller islands around the port will be seen by local residents known as gili.
From this port, you can visit another small islands that also have beautiful view and landscape. So, it’s recommended if you can arrive in the morning to get better experience when exploring this area.

Best harbour in Indonesia. It's not crowded. And surrounded by beautiful sceneries. Many small islands on this area, you can dive, and do snorkeling even near the jetty (if there is no ferry)!
