The surabaya submarine monumen is situated near the river in the heart of the city..the View is just stunning especially when you visit at night..its adorned with numerous lamps along the river. If you have interest in education trip related to history and knowledge, this is a must visit destination. Here you can immerse yourself in a realistic submarine experience. Its an ideal place for expanding your knowledge especially for children

Good experience visiting an old but real submarine. It needs tickets, better in the morning, very sunny area. Great for photos, and a must visit spot for history-science enthusiasts.

Interior is well maintained.
Spacious parking area (also connected to mall).
I came early on sunday morning 8 am, very quiet only 3 other people came.
We can also have a walk around the city, good for exercise.

Museum in Surabaya which have unique building because this' real submarine built by Russian and now becoming a museum.
Located is on the Mas riverbank, near Plaza Surabaya and Gubeng train station.
I wish this museum dan give a lot of information text in many languages in every part.

This is a place to visit when you want to learn more about Indonesian Navy. The Pasopati submarine is one of several historical submarines that has an important value during Indonesia's independence era.
To enter the place, you need to pay an entrance ticket of IDR 15,000 per person (4 years older). The tour inside the submarine takes a short of time, mine is less than 15 minutes, I thought. As much I am interested in this place, I suggest those who have claustrophobic to not enter because, yeah, the space is very narrow and full of steel that give off a kind of suffocating vibe. That's why I can't stay longer inside too. I keep imagine how the soldiers at the time can bear the so much narrow and closed steeled-space far down under water.

Aside from touring in the submarine, there's also a diorama video played for the visitors.

The place is quite clean and tidy. You may enjoy the view of the riverbank near the monument as well.

Very interesting place to visit. Never been inside a submarine before. In the cinema (building next to the submarine) you can see the history of the Indonesian navy. This submarine actually has been used by the Navy. When I visited the vessel several groups of school children were guided through the submarine. One could easily spend a few hours here. It's next to Surabaya plaza mall.

A nice experience to know inside the submarine with small amout of money. To see and to feel a bit how inside the submarine for me that’s enough, but perhaps for kids it’s not only new experience but it will develop imagination and beyond.

Yes as the name this tourism destination has submarine whiskey class. With the number 410 this submarine named Pasopati. I won’t tell about history of this submarine.
This venue located on the east side of Plaza Surabaya which is the famous Plaza in the Surabaya.

Build in the edge of golden river made this monument worth it to visit. Many visitors come to this place for many activities like recreation, prewed, photo session, play with dragon boat, or school picnic.

With the tickets only 15.000 Rupiah (around 1 usd) you can get all the facilities from enter into the submarine with the original interior when this submarine in action, video rama. Inside video rama they will play short movies of historical of Indonesian navy.

Many tourists went to this place. From local Surabaya until abroad.

This venue also has a lot of parking space. There is parking area between plaza surabaya and submarine monument
Deficiency of this place they don’t have much worker to clean this area. Many trash especially when holiday come and vistors

The submarine monument is a monument built from the original submarine. The submarine used is KRI Pasopati 410. The monument is not spacious, clean, and very well cared for. You can also see videos about submarines in Indonesia. Entrance ticket price is 15,000 per person.

Clean and well maintained. Car park cost 10k, entrance fee 15k/person. You can see KRI Pasopati there, it is a russian whiskey class. You can also watch the video about the Indonesian Navy at the building beside the submarine.

Entrance fee Rp 15000. They have video around 10am explaining the origins of the ship. The interior of the ship maintained as the original. The staff were very friendly and will accompany the visitors and explain every room or details of the ship. They will also answer your questions regarding the ship.

Cool activity to spend time with your family. The submarine museum is located in the center of Surabaya city. The entrance fee is very cheap, 15k rupiah per person. Here you can take your children to learn about the internal of submarine. The submarine was a real and active vessel at its time, so you can feel the true atmosphere here when the ship was still in operation

Thanks to Mr revin. The guy who have treated me a ticket in there yesterday. Maybe, the attraction is less than other tourist object in Surabaya. But after we have entered this place, we realize that the struggle from a Indonesian Navy in past time. When video rooms we have shown a few historcal perspective from submarine in Past time. I hope this place still on good condition in future. So, when I have a childs, I can show this place to them.

Very good place to visit, specially if you have kids.
My son really enjoyed checking the torpedoes, place the crew used to sleep, Commander area and much more, they displayed pictures of the formers Commanders. I just would suggest them to put some informations in English.

Normal air conditioners were installed to make the environment more comfortable.
We didn't visit the video room to avoid Covid problems but that is an option offered too.
The ticket cost 15k rp per person and kids up to 5 is free
Parking lot for car and motorcycle (10k rp) you can access the ticket area from parking lot OR from street.

This real submarine can give tourist an experience inside this compact area and imagine how more than 100 people to live in the submarine for months. Visitors can tour the submarine's crew quarters, officers' lounge, control room and torpedo room, and of course, look through the periscope.

One of the most famous touristy spots in Surabaya. If you are planning on going to Surabaya and researching what to see, this would come up early. It's not free-of-charge area, but worth visiting at least once. You can enter the submarine without extra admission fee. It's a real submarine once used. Cool inside but of course closed and choking. You shouldn't even try if you are claustrophobic or agoraphobic. Don't forget to walk riverside.

This is a great monument of submarines that located in the city center of Surabaya. The location is just perfect because it is located besides the main river in Surabaya. Here, you can entered the retired submarine of KRI Pasopati-410 from the front until the rear part. I am a big person and finds it is quite difficult to enter another room inside the submarines, so just relax yourself. Besides the submarine, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the river from the riverbank. The peoples here are friendly. It is easily accessed by online transportation and there are several parking lots.

This museum was built as a memorial of the brave fighters of Indonesia, and to conserve history or Indonesia’s Maritime. This Museum was Indonesian Navy’s submarine which was named KRI Pasopati, type SS Whiskey Class, that was made in Vladi Wostok Russia in 1952. Since January 29th 1962, this submarine was part of Indonesian Navy property for anti shipping mission, surveillance and raid. This submarine has been involved in several important Indonesia Navy mission. KRI Pasopati was commissioned to oversee, hearken and collect information without any detection. In 1990, this submarine resigned from Indonesian Navy, and separated to be 16 blocks and then these blocks transported to the recent site to be rebuilt again.

In 2022 is better than before years. Specially for submarine cabin , that white painted. It's surrounding by kali mas port and skateboard park and suro and boyo statue.
