Sate Maranggi Pak Nur

One of the best restaurant serving satay in Garut. Pak Nur got the 'kampung sunda' ambience all around with a centered pool in the area. They serve variety of Satay, local specialties, and some western food. Kudos to the owner, as they got 'Personal Menu' which is a curated dish consisted of Satay, Karedok, Tempeh, Tofu, topped up with chocolate melted as dessert, enabling a solo traveller to taste lots of dishes at once with the perfect portion. During my visit, the personal menu cost IDR 75k. Their mutton satay is on point!

Try the signature dishes, Nasi Liwet with Lamb Satay and Lamb Gulai. The place is very comfy with friendly staffs.

This satay restaurant provides various satay, chicken, lamb and beef. Also many soup, gulai and tongseng with good taste. Price is average, comparable to the foods. Parking area is quite small.. because there are some shops nearby, so share parking to others. The scenery inside is good with small pond and cottages…

the lamb satay was amazingly tender, tumis kangkung was delicious. its just the iced coconut orange was too sour

I ordered sate, cah kangkung and mendoan here. They were delicious. Loved them. Also, waiting time was not too long. However, i suggest to place a candle on every table since flies just flew everywhere around our food. It was kind of annoying.

You have to choose the place over the pond... The food tastes good and will be better if you have great companions... They serve more than satay and every menu is good if you like Sundanesse food...

The food super delicious, yet the ambiance is in bare minimum. I ordered chicken, lamb and beef satay which all tasted good and tender. The Karedok also fresh and good. However, the food was bit pricey for the small town scale.

My all time favorite satay! A must try for those who visit Garut!

Lamb satay is tender, surprisingly there's no lamb bad smell. The chicken satay is tasty too. The peanut sauce is just perfect. And don't forget to combine your satay with vegetable. We choose karedok. It wouldn't make you disappointed.

Came here after reading the review & apparently not far from the hotel we were staying.
We tried Sate Maranggi sapi, Sate Maranggi Kambing & Sop Iga sapi.
Both Sate Maranggi sapi & kambing were delightful. Meaty, soft, and the taste was nothing we ever had before. Sop Iga was good, but nothing special.
Would like to try Domba Guling next time we come back here.

Simply one of the best. Try sate kambing maranggi (we ordered this menu twice), domba guling, oseng kambing. Top it off with air jeruk kelapa. That was last night. This afternoon we came back for more as shown in the picture.

We ordered sate sapi, sate kambing, sup iga sapi and tumis kangkung and all were delicious! Last order is at 20.30 so do come before that.

Quick service but table cleanliness need improvement.

Price for 1 portion sate is 48k consist of 10 tusuk, each tusuk consist of 3 meat 2big 1 small. I've visited at afternoon so the place is not crowded due to health protocol Covid-19

Great delicious meat, along with cozy and spacious space at 'lesehan' inthe back part of restaurant, choose the 'karedok' for vegetarian, and mango juice at this time is a always a good choice..

Nice satay, but make sure ask for less spicy for the condiments if u dont like it too spicy.

Well...no doubt for having lunch here, because the satay is very good, they have their own taste which is thats so delicious...must try!!!
