The Tejas Warung

Always an excellent experience at this warung, so much that I come to eat here about 3 times a week! The food is fantastic at a decent price. Lots of vegetarian options alongside some meat dishes as well. Healthy, fresh and tasty. My go-to soups are the rasam, soto ayam and sweet corn soups. As for main dishes- the grilled pumpkin and chicken dishes are great. You really you can't go wrong here as every dish I've tried has been delicious. Soothing teas and fresh squeezed juices. Picturesque setting overlooking the rice fields. To top it all off, it is family owned by a lovely couple who provides excellent service. Makes it so easy to come back every time.

Great Ayurvedic menu, they really know how to cook Indian vegetarian/vegan food. I had the vegetable curry, it was really tasty and clean(I mean not oily at all). I will definitely Come back to try the vegan risotto or the Ming bean curry.

Delecious fresh food. Four of us came and only one person was cooking so the wait was quite a while but it was worth it. Great vegetarian options and it is inbetween the rice fields so a great vibe.

I had never eaten Ayurvedic food. I had never had dinner next to the rice fields, the sounds of the frogs and crickets wrapped me around like a lullaby.
The Tejas Warung is a small family restaurant near Ubud with delicious cuisine and very very friendly owners. The extraordinary quality-price ratio. The location... unforgettable .

Our hotel was close bye, thats why we ate here twice dinner. The owners are super lovely and we felt welcome at this place. We ate here healthy indian dishes (khichdi, dal) and were positively suprised how well they cooked here. Summary: we had good experiences here and can recommend this place.

The menu has a fabulous Indian selection: really enjoyed some beautifully plump samosas and a bowl of dal, roti and avial made with crisp vegetables. Everything was freshly made and tasted delicious. The service was extremely friendly and efficient. Will be back to sample more!

really love the ambience, the rice fields, the eret and the Ayurveda cooking here . Very special menu. They even have teas for three different types of people in Ayurveda.

We dinned here by chance, due to the great google reviews, and ended up coming back 3 nights in a row. They welcomed us warmly as a large group of 7 with a variety of dietary requirements. The menu is wide with traditional Indonesian food, as well as some european options. We kept to the Indonesian food (traditional and ayurvedic), we tested many of the options. We were not disappointed with a single option. Chef is fantastic. The restaurant set up is simple and honest, a couple tables and shares. Everything is clean, including the spotless toilets. We all fell in love with the kitchen, the location, and the beautiful little black and white dog. Should we return to Ubud we would come back. Why? This is the best food we have eaten during our stay in Indonesia.

Great food, atmosphere & people. A shame we couldn’t go several times, but I would come back for sure next time in Ubud.

Felt totally welcomed and embraced by the family running this warung- genuine kindness, with a clear talent for hosting. The food was superb, a selection of veggie/ vegan dishes including an Ayurvedic section on the menu which is lovely. The view is scenic, the air is fresh, stunning experience all round ♥

Staying close by, I ate here five days out of seven. Why? Because it's really really good. In fact, it's some of the best Indo 'warung' food i've eaten. The Nasi Campur is fresh and delish, and the Nasi Goreng the best i've had - and don't get me started on the spring rolls.

But what makes it better is the owners - i've never come across such wonderfully friendly, generous people. They looked after our baby while we ate, and delivered food right to our door without an extra fee.

I highly recommend eating here if you're staying in the area.

Amazing food, not just vegetarian - some meat dishes too. Lovely owner. We had food delivered to our villa nearby and it was high-quality, very tasty and beautifully presented. Best Warung food in the area. HIGHLY recommended!

Great and healthy food and good portions. The hosts are very friendly and as the Warung opens a few months ago, everything is new. The choice is versatile and even vegans are able to find very good dishes! I had a Ayurveda Menu with Jackfruit and an Avocado shake and absolutely enjoyed both! If you like to have some european food - they also serve Pizza and Nudles.
It is located a few meters from the road, thats very pleasant. I will come back! :-)

Beautiful, food with a focus on healthy vegetarian options. The tempeh in the nasi campur was absolutely delicious, as was the satay tofu and jackfruit. A herbal Ayurvedic tea topped off the experience. The owner/cook is super sweet, and there is a lovely outlook over a rice paddy. Highly recommended.

The food here is amazing!! We had chicken satay and Soto Ayam and it was delicious. The staff are extremely friendly and it is a nice quiet location to enjoy a meal. I would highly recommend stopping in.
