Yuki Japanese Restaurant, Bar & Karaoke

We haven't been here for the last 5-7 years but very surprised that the taste is still as good as we remember.
We love everything that we ordered, gyoza, the grilled beef, salmon head, salmon mentai and and yakitori.
The only room of improvement is not to trick the customers on the seats availability.
The staff in front told us that there's no seats and all fully booked and lied to us that it wi take long even to queue. He said the only option is booking VIP room with minimum booking. Apparently there was a lot of empty seats so either they dont want to accept us anymore, or they want us to pay more. The staff who took the order was very friendly,but 2 other waitress that served the food had no smile on their faces. One looked very fierced, the other one dragging her feet like she doesnt want to be there.

We visit Melawai area quite regularly and can testify that this is one of the best resto here. Not only the food are great, service are excellent and they have a dedicated non-smoking area which actually free of smoke.

We ordered quite many and all of the are great! Worth the visit and will definitely come back.

I had an amazing experience lunch here. The food was fantastic, especially the Aburi Wagyu Yukhoe, which had tender, juicy meat with a smoky aroma from being seared in front of us. The Wakame Salad and Yuki Salad were both fresh with original dressings, likely made with sesame oil and lemon, adding to the overall freshness. The Salmon Maki was filled with juicy salmon, and considering the price range, it was definitely worth it. The accompanying ginger and wasabi seemed to be of higher quality, enhancing the flavor of the dish. The Bara Don, similar to beef teriyaki, had a perfectly balanced taste without being overpowering. As for the Nazamu Karami Don, it was a delightful surprise with its crispy texture resembling chips, despite being fried catfish with mayo. I highly recommend trying the Nazamu Karami Don and the Aburi Wagyu Yukhoe, as they offer unique flavors not commonly found in other restaurants.

Regarding the service, it was generally good, although finding parking might be a bit of a challenge due to limited space. Despite the restaurant being full, the food arrived promptly within about 10 minutes. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience that I would gladly repeat.

Ordered the Niku Cheese Tamago and the Aburi Wagyu Yukhoe, and both the menu didn’t dissapoint. The meet and the veggies on the yukhoe have a very nice seasoning and the tamago has perfect taste beetwen sweet and tasty. Will come back to taste their Chutoro!

It was super pleasant. The sushi was fresh, although the noodle is slightly overcooked, it still tasted nice and the portion was generous. The salad dressing is also delicious. Would really come back 👍🏼

Their saba and chutoro are really good and worth for money! Also, the place is clean and spacious, quick service. Definitely will come back to try for another menu

Gyoza - 8,7/10 the texture was perfect, the outet skin is crispy but the filling is still juicy 🤤
the ogura ice cream is worth it!!! 🤭

One of the best Japanese restaurants in town!! I really love their Aburi Wagyu ❤ For the Chicken Katsu Curry, it could have been better if they made the curry sauce a little bit thicker and punchier. Nevertheless, it was nice. The price is high but not overpriced. Will definitely come back soon.

The food was excellent, we ordered aburi wagyu yukhoe, beef ramen, gyoza, wagyu cheese mengchi, all taste was excellent. Service was good, quick respon. Restaurant atmosphere was amazing in 2nd floor, we love it.

Yuki is the of deliciousness! Their medium-rare Aburi Wagyu is perfection on a plate. The Beef Shomen? Hot, savory, umami goodness that'll have you saying 'OMG!' Don't even think of stopping until you try EVERYTHING on the menu! You've been warned

never go wrong with aburi wagyu yukhoe! but it’s my first time trying the kinoko mentai & umakara beef tofu and they don’t disappoint!! enak banget very yummersss 😋

Recommend buat yang malam mingguan di blok M, wajib booking dulu ya guys. I ordered a lot, but this is my recommendations:

1. Aburi Chu Toro Avocado Sauces
Awalnya ngira bakal amis (soalnya ikan Tuna), but turns out a flavourfull dish! Fresh Tuna with thick creamy sauce on top of it and the umaminess of the dark brown sauce compliment each other 🥰, hats off!

2. Bakudan Croquette
Ini namanya perkedel next level. Crispy outside, creamy inside with cheese and mayo and quaill egg.

3. Aburi Wagyu Yukhoe
Saladnya Freshhh, wagyunya enak (kematangan medium is recommended), mixed with half boiled egg yolk

Dont forget to bring your loved ones to this restaurant! 👌

It's my second visit here and the Japanese food here haven't failed ne yet. It's a good place to hangout with friends and colleague. They also have VIP room which can hold up to 15 peoples. I recommend ordering Tempura Udon, the broth is light and flavorful.

One of many japanese restaurant in blok m area, the dining area is in the second floor. Going up through a narrow stairs, so I dont think this place is kids and elderly friendly.

We came during lunch time and it was quiet so we can really enjoy our meal in peace. We ordered Spicy salmon head soup and Umakara niku dofu (spicy beef soup). Both are good, the soup is well balanced and not too spicy.
