Gereja Katolik Santa Maria Tak Bercela

This is one of Catholic church that located on East Surabaya. The church is well known to be the site of 2018 bombing, but I'm grateful that the people have strong belief in God even after the bombing. I love the interior of the building. The parking lots are quite limited, but it can be accessed by online transportation.

COVID update: for daily mass, you have to get “ID card” to attend the mass and for the weekly mass you have to register yourself first to head of your district aka “ketua lingkungan”, get the information about your living area at church’s information center (at your closest residence)

If you are Catholic, this church is located in the east of Surabaya.

They hold Masses once at 17.00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday 05.30, 7.30, 16.30 and 18.30. They hold daily masses too at 05.30 and 18.00.

One of the largest church. Has a dedicated praying altar to Mother Mary and has a cafe inside too. It's usually very crowded during celebration days (Christmas, Easter) and one might not get a seat inside.

I'm muslim but I used to accompany my sister here every sunday. This is such a beautiful place. Respect. Tolerance.

Active Catholic Church!
Yes it has small parking lot, but the seat quota are so big. Before the mass they have some special prayer, it is adding the devout atmosphere for celebrating the eucharist mass 😊

this church doesnt have any car parking lot, but the church itself feels very cozy for me.

Lovely catholic church with air con.. Mass schedule Monday- Saturday morning at 05.30 & 6.00 pm , saturday at 5pm..Sunday at 05.30 am, 07.30 am.4.30pm,6.30 pm...there is no lift to go to second floor , available stairs

one of a big curch I ever visited in surabaya. but it has no enough parking area. so you have to using a part of a public street.

First Friday of the month blessing

This church on open 7/24 . They have place for praying (e.x. gua Maria), the canteen start at 10.00 until 17.00 with Indonesian food menu (Monday, closed). If you need help for administration, you can go to backwards of church, the office open 7 days a week during working hours.

Its very comfort to pray

Its crowded, you may not find solace during regular sunday mass. Please use the time other than regular time to meditate and find solace.

Great people, so many kindness although bombing action in may 2018. So thankful for teaching us how to react with great kindness
