Bakmie Shinta 88

The place is located on a relatively small street, inside a housing complex. It's managed by an elderly couple. Om-nya is pretty humorous and friendly while his wife typically handles the kitchen with some helpers. Parking is on sidestreet and rather limited.

Taste wise, it's above average for the bakmi karet with minced pork. The pork topping is preferred over the chicken version for me and the chewy texture of bakmi alot is not overdone.

Their fried meatball, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, is also recommended. Eating them, drenched-style with the soured taste chilly sauce, always leaves me wanting for more so a portion of 3 is the bare minimum hahah

I give it a 5-star because the overall experience was nice for me and I would recommend it to my friends to visit. There are lots of birds with their beautiful tweets, but beware of mosquitos!

Recommended by a friend to try out this hidden gem noodle joint located at a residential complex within West Jakarta area.

I have a weak spot for Bakmi Lebar (flat and wide noodle), I believe I ordered the Bakmi Lebar with both toppings (minced pork and diced chicken) and pangsit or swikiaw (dumplings). Also ordered their famous Bakso Goreng (Fried Pork Meatballs) on the side.

The noodles were cooked al dente, I personally like the way they heavily seasoned the noodles with lard, salt, and soy sauce. Their toppings were cooked and seasoned nicely as well.
The pangsit or swikiaw were also properly done, and the bakso goreng was just the highlight of this noodle joint.
The bakso goreng was densed with minced meat (not the hollow type), it has the beautiful golden brown crunch on the outside, and chewy and tender texture on the inside.
As I can remember, they are freshly cooked (fried) per order maintaining its best form, taste, and texture.

The place is not easy to find and car parking is obviously limited, best to follow directions using Google Maps.

The cleanliness of the place can be improve, but it was acceptable.

Overall, I personally recommend Bakmie Shinta 88 for those who loves a heavily seasoned and oily noodles.

I could not recall the price, but I believe it was moderately priced.

lokasinya di rumah, tidak terlalu luas.

Bakmi ny lumayan enak. Harga ny pun masih standard lah ya 24 ribu, tekstur Bakmi ny empuk kriting gitu..
Swikiau ny enak, kulitny lembut dagingnt lmyan berisi.
Kuah ny pun cukup gurih ya rasanya..

Untuk Rasa lumayan enak..
Suasanya cukup oke lah ya ala rumahan dan banyak mejanya..
Engko nya lumayan ramah, ngajak bercanda terus sih Om nya.. jadi lumayan asik..

Kalau lagi kearah sana atau sekitaran sana sih worth to try. Dan saya sendiri kalau memang ad lg ke arah sana atau skitaran sana bisa mampir lagi sih.
Karena harga ckup ramah d kantong tapi rasanya lumayan uenak..

Mie ini langganan suami sejak jaman dia kuliah, rasanya enak... Cincaunya seger dan rasanya pas, ga kemanisan...

Bakso goreng nya enak tekstur garing dalam nya lembut dan padat, untuk mie nya juga enak kenyal dan gurih, daging banyak.
