Amara Bali Family Tour

We just had an amazing day exploring Ubud’s hidden gems with our lovely guide Kadek and driver Putu. Communication with Edi, our point of contact was seamless. Kadek and Putu picked us up right from our doorstep and took us to three waterfalls which weren’t busy at all. The visit to the coffee and tea plantation run by locals was a delightful treat too. Kadek’s knowledge about Bali and its history really brought the places to life. It felt like we were experiencing Ubud as locals for a day. Plus, Kadek’s photography skills are on fire 😁. This tour is a must do for anyone visiting the area. Totally recommend it!

We are a couple aged 58 and we don't regularly cycle, but this tour wasn't difficult for us. Our guide Kadek was engaging, and led us through a very revealing experience of how everyday Balinese families exist.
This isn't your run-of-the-mill tourist fodder, its a genuine insight into what is usually unseen.

We are a couple of oldies (54 and 56) who do cycle at home, but just wanted to cruise downhill, in holiday mode. This tour was perfect. We were picked up from our hotel at 10.30. It's a fair drive from Legian / Kuta / Seminyak to the start of thw cycle, but definitely worth it. Everything was provided, including helmets and bottled drinking water. The bikes were in good condition and suitable for the tour. We stopped to look at rice terraces, working rice fields and a coffee plantation. We visited a family compound and Kadek introduced us to some interesting information about Balinese culture and way of life. We visited a temple and cycled through a dozen villages. All togther, we went downhill for about 27kms! The cycling part of our trip ended at a warung at 4.45pm, for a delicious meal. A great day out on the island! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone who can balance on two wheels.

I couldn't recommend Bali Natural Cycling Tour enough - they are the best! We’ve had a fantastic time as a family of 4 on our downhill tour. Kadek and his team were so friendly and the tour was very organised and well run. Delicious breakfast buffet at a breathtaking location (The Amora) and a yummy lunch alongside beautiful rice terraces at the end. Amazing scenery and the bike ride was the perfect length. Would highly recommend to all visitors young and old visiting Bali - great value for money!

We had a fantastic ride with Ari, our guide, who was highly knowledgable and spoke English incredibly well. He explained the cultures and history of Bali and was very open to being asked questions about every day life and the traditions that still remain on this beautiful island. We started the day with breakfast at a luwak coffee plantation before ascending via car and being dropped off for the bike ride. The ride consisted on 21km downhill on stunning quiet country roads, visiting rice fields, a temple and a Bali home along the way. We finished off by having a delicious lunch then driven back to our hotel. We had such a great day, thank you Ari.

Very enjoyable downhill bike ride, delicious breakfast and lunch included. Our guide kadek was very knowledgeable and friendly.
