Really home made tasted food.. reminds me of my mom's dishes... The service is swift, i just wait no longer than 5 minutes.. just a little bit hot here, a few additional fans probably needed

Perfect place for getting meal after traveling and transit to gubeng station or waiting of your train arrives. everything are cheap, suitable for your wallet if you doesn't have enough money. Appropriate for breakfast, lunch, dinner (anytime)
Don't hope to get a restaurant taste, everything taste like home-cooked or rustic food, and that's the point!

I tried Ayam Penyet and Es Teh, and I'd say its worth your money. 24k rupiahs for strategic place in Gubeng is cheap. What about the taste? Is it delicious? Well, it might vary from person to person, but for me, an east Javanese, it just matches my taste. Will repeat again if possible.

**If you are from the train and about to visit this Warung, go to Gubeng Lama (not Baru). Else, you have to turnaround for like 1.7 KMs like what I did. Enjoy the meal :)

The place doesn't look like much, but the food is really good. I had Mie Goreng with some delicious pickles. The staff was very friendly and had patience to try to converse in English. Place was full of locals, so a good sign. Could be a little cleaner though.

Spent 20k for a bowl of rice and meat Soto and a glass of Ice Tea.

This small restaurant is one among legendary restaurants in Surabaya. The food can be considered low prices but very tasty. It serves wide variety of traditional spicy and tasty Javanesse and Chinese food. Very recommended when you are close to Gubeng railway station.

Visited this warung when travelling to Surabaya. Wonderful and nice food with reasonable "cheap" price.

Almost every food here is only 12,500 Rupiah. Nasi Campur, Nasi Soto Ayam/Daging, Nasi Rawon, etc. But the drink is quite expensive (around 4k for Es Teh, and 5k for Es Jeruk).

Food is good, many menus, either food and beverages, but the place feels a little crowd, especially for those have concern in hygiene
