Folly Arboretum and Winery

One of the most beatiful arboretums that we have ever visited! Open every day.

We came to see the tower and maybe have a bite to eat and found an amazing arboretum. With pines, cyprus, ceeders and more. The food in the restaurant was great and not costly and great service. We were there from 17:00 to 19:00 had time to eat and a pleasent walk through the Arboretum. Entry fee of 2900huf and free parking

Beautiful garden with many varieties of evergreen trees and a magnificent view on Lake Balaton. At the terrace, you can enjoy delicious home made lemonades and tea from comfortable chairs overlooking the lake and the gardens. There is also a wine terrace, a look out tower and a shop where you van buy seeds, plants, teas, wine and lemonades. Follow the Folly road signs to get there.

Wonderful place for kids and adults alike, breathtaking view, and excellent cuisine. Their wines have a rather particular taste too, not the usual Balaton style. Definitely worth trying.

An amazing private arboretum with beautiful view over lake Balaton. The whole place is in great condition, you can tell that the owners really wanted to provide top notch experience to the visitors. There is a lookout on the top of the garden, it is worth going up there. And don't miss the open air eatery, they have fabulous food, nice wine and home made lemonade, ice tea. You can spend at least an hour or two there.

The arboretum is in a good condition, you can tell that the owners are really taking good care of it. The view from here is amazing. You have a breathtaking view over the Balaton lake. I’ve bought some wine from their shop and it was very good. Beautiful place. I recommend to visit it.

Be prepared to spend up to 3 hours here and it is totally worth it.
To start the small restaurants serves delicious street food like and some grill meals, great selection of wine and for those of us who have to drive, fruit syrup which my granny used to make. Hands down a great eating experience with nice staff.
Then there is the arboretum with nature that you only see in Disney princess scenes. This place has a family history where they preserve a beatufil and rich environment. And if you still have it in you, a walk up the hill brings you to one of the best look out points in the area.

Great place with beautiful view, tasty wines and tall pines. This arboretum touches all of your tastes.

It was a win, win for the entire family. I learned about different pines trees and enjoy our hike thru out there. After we finished our walk, we sat at there restaurant and eat and sipped their wine. Everything was Delicious!

In Badacsony turns everything around wine, Vineyard and grapes and so does this place! The Arborétum has great view in every direction. A beautiful calm place for discussions or just simple resting also with a restaurant.

Even in winter time there’s a nice walk in the garden and the background is the stunning Balaton. Their restaurant is also high quality with a nice service, their own wine is just a cherry on the top! Highly recommended, we loved it!

Amazing place suitable for hikers and non-hikers as well, and it's a paradise for kids! There is a treehouse and various playgrounds, it's a lot of fun. It is worth to spend a half day here even in hot weather, since the trees give a lot of shade and you can have a variety of cold drinks and summer foods in the restaurant. The restaurant serves delicious food with vegan and vegetarian options, creative meals and traditional ones too, and fantastic wines. We ate cold strawberry soup, salad with local dried tomatoes, cheese cubes and pinebuds, and poppy seed cake with the best home-made rasperry jam. Although you can see the view from everywhere, it is worth to go up to the lookout tower.

It's awesome for people who love relax time and very nice view, perhaps 1 of the best views to the balaton lake.
You can eat there, buy wine and home made fruit sirope.
Lots fun things for the kids.

It is a very nice place to visit with a great view on the lake Balaton. We spent there 2,5 hours observing the park and in the local Cafe with local wine and snacks. We also liked the leisure chairs in the park on the lawn which invite you to have a rest on them. Very cozy and cute.

I have been to Folly last week and everything was perfect. It is a very nice place. The tall blonde receptionist was so nice. She provide us some recommendations: what to see around, good restaurants and beaches around Balaton.
