Tomaj Camping

Great location by the river. Beautiful grassy area by the lake. Was only planning on staying for one night but changed it to 2. Wonderful and very pet friendly, including cats.

A very good camping price wise, the staff is very friendly and useful. A little bar for snack and draft beer, a beach very close with a safeguard. Close to local shop for food and wine , a very interesting butcher in the center of the village.a perfect spot,if you are here to visit Balaton winery.

We've spent 2 nights at Tomaj Camping and it was great! We had a small apartment with a small terrace for 4. The apartment is clean and well equipped and also does the whole camping. You can park the car in front of the apartment. The staff is nice and everything went smooth. Thanks!

This place is a little Gem. On the northern part of the Lake this is pretty much the only Camping that has a lovely peaceful atmosphere full of greens where you really feel in one with nature. When I checked the other Camping sites along the Lake words like commercial "industrial" impersonal came to mind lacking in tranquility, beauty and peace and very overpriced. The beach is private, not overcrowded is also a bonus. The grass and surroundings are kept beautifully lush and green. This is the only Camping I can truly recommend on the north side!

This place is our favourite with my girlfriend. Usually we go camping here by tent! Amazing views, fantastic Balaton!! 🙂

Nice campsite! We only stayed for one night but will be back if we are around the Balaton lake. It has it's own private beach and bar. Staff speaks English and German.

We had a great time staying here with my friends.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The campground was large, and covered with fine grass. I enjoyed the food they were serving very much, and for a reasonable price. Also the layout of the whole camp was great.
It is worth getting up early and going for a swim, because the sunrise can be breathtaking when watched from the water.

Nice and pleasant atmosphere just as it was 8 years ago when we first got here. Since then we come back every year to spend here a few camp nights. It's good to see how many people work here to make you feel here good.

Lovely place, clean bathrooms, kind service staff. We spent 3 days in the camping and absolutely loved it. The shore and the water is clean. 10/10 will visit again next year

Very nice and paceful place. It is great for families with kids, no discos! A small restaurant serves cheap and tasty dishes. Small but clean beach. Clean bathrooms.

A favourite campsite for many years now.. near the busy Badacsony which is close enough to break our pace with some gastro&wine-trips anytime. The camping is big enough, cosy&clean. Possible to play tabletennis, there is a net for walleyball and badminton. It has only a simple bar, but an own lido with clean coast of the Balaton. The staff is kind.

Fantastic campsite. Would go back today, clean and well defined. Location is good as well.

Only advice: please don't use the onsite buffet.

We are looking forward to visit again in the very near future.

We stayed here for 18 days last summer, we explored the Balaton, looking at several campsites but found this to be the best of all the ones we saw, we enjoyed the open aspect of the campsite, we didnt have an allocated pitch surrounded by hedges as most do, the grass was green and plenty of it, unlike alot of the other sites we encountered where it was worn down to soil. The staff are friendly and its a short distance to the villge center where you can find some nice restaurants and Tea Haz good butchers and grocers,a great base to explore the Balaton...

The environment of the campsite is well maintained, the whole territory is just nice and calm. The shower rooms are frequently cleaned, the ownd beach is also very nice.

Climatic campsite. Very helpful staff. The reception open 24h. Possibility to leave power bank for charging for the night. Clean sanitaries.

spacious campsite with nice private beach and friendly english speaking staff who were happy to charge our phones and look after our bags for a few hours after we checked out.

The best camping around lake Balaton, there are everything what people need and its safety is pretty reliable!

Good value for money. Decent price, nice lakeside location, friendly, helpful personnel and regularly cleaned facilities.

The small houses are comfortable and reasonably priced. Very nice beach :)
