A very nice accommodation with an excellent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. You can park your bikes in a large room. The dogs are welcomed!

We stayed here two nights in February and absolutely loved it. Amazing room with a view, friendly staff and great breakfast. It was nice to stay here in winter with not many people around. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Awesome experience at this beautiful and very traditional hotel! The location is optimal, as you can easily reach every main landmark in Tihany at walking distance. Breakfast was excellent, rooms were quiet and ideal for both couples or solo travellers. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. Definitely recommended!

The place is amazing. The landscape is beautiful and the hotel is close to the city center by foot. The room was very nice and decorative. The breakfast was delicious. You can go outside for a walk and check out the lavender fields and the city center is also close.

Very nice, "traditional, Hungarian" place. Hotel is very very charming, rooms are extremely nice, vintage, but kinda luxury. There is a Nespresso coffee machine in rooms too, good cosmetics. Great selection of local wine at the reception.

There is a pool, lounging next to it in the garden is nice too. Guy taking care of the pool can be arrogant (claiming "the pool is closed","if I open it you need to swim" etc., - simply be strict with him, or solve it with the reception).
Parking next to the house (road can be muddy). Breakfast is very good.
Location about 5-8 mins walking to centre of Tihany. Calm area, next to a small lake (jogging etc.).

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s located at a cute small lake surrounded with a beautiful nature. The center of the town with the Abbey, restaurants, shops and bus station is just few minutes away by foot. The lavender field is in the walking proximity. The hotel has a very unique rustic feel. The antique interior design of the rooms is amazing. The facilities are very well maintained and have a good addition of the modern equipment. We had a Deluxe Double on the upper floor. The room was spacious and had a living area with the sofa and armchairs. It also had AC and mosquito screens. Although the breakfast facilities were always quite packed, it had a good variety and the service was fast and proper. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

The place is excellent, just like the pictures! We stayed here for 3 nights, the room was big and spotlessly clean, with luxury toiletries, soft fluffy towels and crisp white sheets. I absolutely loved the decorations, the furniture is antique but clean and functional, but the room also has modern elements (the bed, a coffee table, a small couch, plus TV, fridge and coffee maker). The bathroom is decorated in a country style but new and very clean, excellent shower and plenty of storage space. Very good breakfast with lots of options and local specialities included. Overall a wonderful experience, we definitely recommend an extended weekend, you will not regret it!

We stayed with family over Easter. Beautiful spot in beautiful Tihany. Location is great, close to the inner lake. Amazing architecture and interiors. Delicious, rich buffet breakfast. The only downside was that the reservation was messed up, as we reserved a few rooms next to each other, but were given rooms across the property. Also, we were probably unlucky, but the cleaners did really bad job in our room. It was still great and I would recommend.

This is such a special, quiet, lovely family friendly place and we enjoyed it so much! We experienced a charming combination of a dedicated staff (it's a family-run hotel as we later learned), lovely quiet location in a picturesque village on the semi-peninsula of Tihani, and a special old-style atmosphere with a beautiful garden, not to mention the sumptuous delicious breakfast that had plenty for vegetarians as well. Perfect for anyone looking for just that! The tip of the icing was the excellent e-bike rental offered right on the premises - which proved an ideal fun thing to do and an eco-friendly mode of transport around the island. The family who runs the place are charming people truly dedicated to giving their guests a pleasant experience. Thank you, we definitely recommend you!!

Spent a romantic stay with fiancé in Tihany and booked through the hotels app. Upon arrival you'll see a spacious courtyard that's kept to high standard, surrounded by authentic white wall cottages with a thatched roof. Dot dot dot. Can't get more welcoming than that. Staff is super helpful and facilities are more than satisfying.

The room was recently renovated. The breakfast was very very good. And the location is near all the Tihany attractions. Highly recommended !!!!

Love it!!! Breakfast with home made bread and jam!!!!! Just love the country feel and they always accommodate our dog which is always a plus.

That was absolutely amazing trip to Tihany, we had visited Tihany many times before COVID-19, but we had never lived there, this time we found this lovely hotel, the service were good and receptionist is super friendly as well.

and it is near to city center around 5mins you can go anywhere in Tihany, and there is a small grocery store COOP nearby, so basically anything, and lovely breakfast! And cute cat as well.

Dead tired from our wedding in Badacsony the night before, my husband and I arrived at Houses of History in Tihany, badly in need of rest. The guy greeting us at the reception was really accommodating and kind. The check-in process was smooth due to the online check-in option sent out a few days before. The room (more of an apartment) was very spacious, cool on a hot summer day and furnished with charming antique furniture. Bathroom was completely new. The complex of buildings is beautiful with the thatched roofs traditional of the Hungarian countryside. We had wonderful moments of relaxation by the gigantic, clean, perfect pool in the backyard. There was even a very sweet cat and puppies who came over to say hey and play with us. Breakfast was varied and absolutely delicious. And the location is perfect, a less than 10 minute walk from the center but just enough removed to be quiet. Recommend with enthusiasm for couples and families.

Amazing hotel with delicious breakfast and nice rooms. Very quiet and beautiful place. The water pressure in shower wasn’t the best, but it’s just a small problem.

Absolutely amazing place and took me by surprise, will definitely be coming back.
