Tihany Port

Not so busy place with less crowd unlike other tourist places. There were many food stalls and souvenir shops. My absolute favorite was the lavender shop with products made of lavender. Lavender flavored ice-cream is a must try!!!

Can travel on a ferry with a car, bike or foot. Can leave the bike in the port to have a cheaper price. Ferry operates very often probably every 10-15min

Great place on the shore of Balaton lake. Water color is unreal and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. A best place to have a coffee if you like that of shopping for some souvenir in the nearby shops, with the lavender being the main subject.

High quality boat port goes with stunning view of the bay (East) area & other, South side of the lake.

For sure a relaxing place outside the main tourist season. Easy walks along the water line, nice Cafés. If you're looking for a swim in the lake - the strand is very clean, easy to access the water. Preferably earlier, around noon it's not too busy. On busy days parking might be a challenge.

Amazing place!

We came over from Balatonfüred Marina to here. Good Lángos is sold in the bus stop. Bus took us to the two towered church on the top of the mountain.
