Buffalo Steak House

It's so delicious, and if you make a reservation, you can go there and enjoy it easily and kindly. The portion was so big that I was full. The kangaroo steak is a bit tough but tasty once in a while. I want to eat hamburgers again. I hope we meet again.

Amazing food, amazing service, nice waiters, all you need to have an amazing time with amazing food and friends or family. The entire place is decorated so nicely. It definitely brings you away from the city's often grey atmosphere.
One thing I didn't particularly enjoy was the overheated area next to the bar. It was way too hot and there was no air inside. I'd like to see some improvement on thelat side. Other than that I'd give 10 starts if I could. Will definitely return in the future. A++++

I was looking forward to visit this restaurant. So many thinks to choose from. I finally got my soup in a bread loaf. I took the Buffalo's Classic which is a spicy cheese soup. Really creamy and with quite a lot of meat inside. Delicious! For the main I got the Beef short ribs. A dish you cannot find that often, so I had to try it! There are other dishes I really need to try here as well, cause they have a unique selection. The interior looks great and fits perfectly with the food they serve. Staff is friendly, quite a d speaking English. I definitely come back here!
Edit: came back again for the Argentine fillet mignon and brownies dessert; Delicious!

Delicious American style food. We had the pork plate with a side of different types of potatoes and sauces.
The service was great and the waiters were very accommodating.
The inside of the restaurant is decorated in the style of the old west which our party found very interesting.

Im new to Hungary, Budapest and in my first week itself I was lucky to find this restaurant.
It is not located at City centre, but little away from that. You have one bus and tram stop in from of that, I took 52 tram from Hatar.
The ambiance is some different, and nice. The restaurant has wooden design with many decorations on wall, guns, cow boy arts, hats, animal skins etc.
I had twice beef bone marrow soup, once farm chicken breast steak and once rib eye steak. Everything was so perfect and tasty. It is served on a wooden plate, with two sides as option, garnish or sauce. Sauteed mushrooms as garnish was really good. Also variety of sauces arre available, spicy ones too.
Beef bone marrow soup is really unique and I have never seen somewhere else in Budapest. Beers, wines and hard liquor is also available.
Staff was friendly too.
Ask for an English menu if you can't read Hungarian.
Also make sure you call or book table via their website. I had to return once as there was no table available.

This place was so worth the hour trek outside Budapest centre to get to! It's actually so good, we had to come back the next day! The food is amazing, comes fast, prices are great and the service is friendly and delightful. And not to mention, the portions are MASSIVE! Definitely a place you should visit to eat in Budapest!

Tasty food and big portions in a unique restaurant.
The steaks (Porterhouse and tendeloin) were perfect, the peanut sauce and the onion marmalade were really delicious.
The American apple pie was also extraordinary.
The staff was very kind, also there was no mandatory service fee.
We'll definitely return.

I was here a few days ago during lunch time. The waiter was friendly (and spoke English). The restaurant is clean and has a nice atmosphere. The menu card has plenty to offer. I had a soup and a steak, both delicious.
I can recommend this restaurant. Please book a table in advance!

This is one of my favourite restaurants. The whole thing is set up like a Western saloon with leather saddles, wooden everything, a wax model Indiana Jones, sometimes a bit random but everything fits the theme, making a really nice atmosphere. The staff are friendly, quick and attentive, also happy to give recommendations. The menu has several pages of different steaks on offer and the ones I've tried so far have been delicious. They've got lots of other things to try too like salmon or hamburgers. Every time I've visited here it's been an enjoyable experience, whether it's with friends or for a date out, so I highly recommend it, especially if you like meat and steaks and a laid back steakhouse atmosphere.

A good restaurant with a nice western atmosphere, great service and nice dishes. You don't come here to eat healthy, but to eat plenty, which is totally ok. :) Also prices are very reasonable.

We visited Buffalo Steakhouse on our wedding anniversary and did not regret our decision at all, as we were completely satisfied with everything. Both the beef Wellington as well as the enchilada were delicious and the portions were humongous. We could not even finish everything. We ordered one desert for two: the apple pie was rather modest but the vanilla ice cream really whipped it up. The service was simple, fast and friendly. This restaurant is a real hidden gem - a must try if you like stakes and Mexican food.

Great, fast service.
Menu has probably way too menu items.
Had the Argentinian rib eye steak.
Cooked to medium, well prepared and great presentation.
Peppercorn sauce wasn’t that good as expected.
Wines also spot on!

Went there with my girlfriend for dinner. I booked a table online, we had 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Fortunately we ordered only one Burrito con carne with sweet potatoes , because the portion was huge! We barely managed to eat it. But it was extremely delicious! Later we ordered a dessert called "Buffalo noodle with marzipan". It was also very delicious and plenty.
The only downside was that the waiter was a little bit resigned, but he wasn't impolite, so it was OK.
I can't wait to go back and try the other meals, especially the steaks!

Excellent steakhouse. Probably the best one in the whole of Budapest. Great food, great prices and really friendly staff. It’s pretty far from the centre of the city if you’re a visitor, but if you love all things steak then it’s a must visit.

This is a very nice place for meat lovers! The waiter spoke english and was very helpful. Not very near from the city center, but worth the visit.

Cool atmosphere, huge portions, mesmerizing flavours, kind staff. The only downside: Far from the center. You will need a car. But again, this isn't always a downside. We ate like locals!

Hidden gem of a steakhouse located about 15 min from city center…filet mignon (angus tenderloin) was great and the peppercorn sauce excellent. Service was prompt and they speak English well. Definitely recommend. Steak is about $14.
