Hargita Restaurant is a real culinary gem in Békéscsaba, which is definitely worth trying. If you're in the area, I highly recommend it.

Really traditional hungarian and szekler food. If you ever come to Békéscsaba, try out this place. The Price is not low, but the food is amazing and the staff any Time we go is the nicest!

A real Transylvanian wibe with the right athmosphere and food. You feel like being in a small Transylvanian restaurant or even home at the beginning of the 20th century, but it still doesn't have a rusty or old feeling.

Food is excellent if you are looking for traditional Transylvanian dishes. Don't expect modern recipes though.

We went here twice, service was excellent the first time but the second time our waiter was in a hurry that was kind of unpleasant for us customers, just taking our additional order looking back while rushing.

Not very cheap if you compare it with other places in this region, but average or below average prices compared to Budapest.

Great, authentic Hungarian food. Service was friendly, professional. I would recommend this place to everyone who ends up in Bekescsaba and wants to enjoy a dinner in a good restaurant. Exceptional in this region.

Best restaurant for me in the whole region. I am a regular visitor for a few years now well worth a 95 km drive from Szeged and 95 km back. Excellend food. Never disappointed.

For 2nd Christmas day we decided that going out for dinner would be the way to go. So my wife and I invited my dad and his wife. We asked them to suggest a good restaurant, and they did not miss. We ordered a 2 person plate for each couple, these would have fed 3 easily. The grilled vegetables where wonderful as where the meat cheese and potatoes. The desserts were authentic transylvanian and freshly made.
The interior classical Hungarian/Transylvanian is very inviting, and the staff were super friendly, this is a place we will definitely be coming back to wherever we are in the erea.

Great food, lovely atmosphere. We sat outside in the igloos it was nice and warm despite the cold weather. Big portion of food, plenty to take home.

So far my favorite restaurant in Békéscsaba. Very reasonable prices and the quality of the food is excellent. Very highly recommend. Wonderful authentic Hungarian decor.

Nice folks and decent service. Warning, we received enormous quantity of foods so just bear in mind when ordering, no extra helping needed.
