Lovely hike with some steep sections but fairly short, so it's not too arduous. Fantastic views from most angles. Keep an eye out for the caves on the way. Surrounded by vineyards bursting with grapes. There is plenty of parking and a cafe/snack bar at the car park.

Peace and silent in November. Few excellent hiking trails. Ideal for nature lovers. Great car park .

It is not so far from the city. There is a large car park near the meadow and a shop where you can buy refreshments. Luckily we could come here on a weekday afternoon, it was almost just us, everything was very quiet and calm. Unfortunately, it is not real nature conservation to have wall climbing in such a beautiful place. There are houses around the pond not sure what function, but closed? Walking up under the shady trees was not strenuous. Very nice.

One of the most beautiful place in Hungary, pure natural on the top of hill in heart of Tokaj, surrounded by forest where a walking path leads.

Crazy amount of tourists, but u can do ferrata more or less peacefully. Better to start at 8, just dont forget to pay at 10:00.

Nice place, short walk from the "car park". If you are looking closely you can find easily a green lizzard

Beautiful lake and forest view. Easy hike, no special equipment needed. Suitable for the whole family. We went with the dog. There is a parking for cars at the edge of the forest. One can rent equipment for climbing on the rocks.

Awesome place near my home. (I am on the Slovak side border) ... Surprisingly many people do not know about it.

Pretty place - you can leave car at a free parking spot before the trail. There is also a little drink stand (you can pay by card) and a lot of places to make fire with tables and places to sit. Then it takes ~20 minutes to get to the lake by walk. From lake you can go to the looklut tower which is about another 5 minutes from the lake.

Nice hike, and nice lookout, avoid approaching it from Karolyfalva

Beautiful place. Worth the walk. You can park your car nearby, and walk up the hill on a dirt road.

This place is really awesome. We have rented the equipment to climb and it was amazing. The routes are quite short but some of them are tricky.

If you have no experience on "via Ferrata" you should ask a leader from the place.

A real treasure of Hungary. It is located near Satoraljaujhely. You can park your car approximately 1.5km away from the tarn so it is a short hike to reach it. There is a well bulit walking path around the tarn so you can see it from different angles and make amazing photos especially in autumn.

We went here early in the morning, so there were no crowds. No entrance fee. You can climb a via ferrata there but since we went early, everything was closed so that we couldn't rent the equipment.

Highly recommended hiking place especially if you only have a few hours (and you are around). Magnificent place during fall season. It's possible to go around the small lake to be able to see from different angles, distances and heights. Really close to Sárospatak, there are places to leave car outside the town well signed from the main road. It's also possible to reach it from Károlyfalva side.

It is not easy to make such great photo shots there, as the ones you can find on Google images, but still, it is a very unique and beautiful place. Highly recommended. Consider it as a relatively short field trip without eating and drinking options. Also, its history is worth a read.

A truly hidden gem in the area. Going there is not neccessarily easy -we went there after two days of rain, it was quite muddy- but it is worth the trip. Unbelievably beautiful, really like Lothlórien a few hundred years after the elves left.

From the "car park" it takes about 40 minutes to get to the place on a well signed path. We were very lucky, because we spotted a few green lizzard. It is a beautiful hidden gem behind a vineyard, it's definietly worth to walk up there.
